For two weeks now I've had a poster of Michael Jackson in my living room window (I live in a first floor flat/apartment block), I also live across the road from the local primary school so each morning and afternoon you can hear the parents take them to and from school.

Today at around three there was this huge commotion outside the flat these kids were yelling, "MICHAEL! MICHAEL! MICHAEL! MICHAEL!" I thought that it was possibly to do with my poster but the cynic in me thought "What would seven to eight year old kids know about Michael Jackson?" stupid me, and thought that they were yelling for one of their friends.

I got up and looked out of my window and there were eight kids screaming at my window "We Love You Michael." and this boy started striking a pose - for those of you who saw the "Making of Thriller" and there was that kid who started doing a dance move in imitation of Michael this was just like that, he was bopping, he was throwing his arms this way and that and the whole spectacle just made me feel so emotional.

For me this was so incredibly touching that these youngsters were doing this the look on their faces even at that age were filled with admiration for Michael, when they left I heard one of them say:

"Michael Rest In Peace."

Tears can't even express how that made me feel.

aaw that's so sweet.. I love how you have your poster hangin up there btw:D

haha thats cool, he bridged the age gap, young and old all love his music noone else has done that, not james brown or elvis so michael is unique and special
