I work at Mandalay Bay, and on my lunch hour today was able to attend a small portion of the press conference. They showed some sneak previews of the Immortal World Tour show and they looked even better than I expected. They showed a bit of the opening sequence, in which you enter the gates of Neverland (the famous golden gates with Michael's name above), and also a clip set to "Childhood", another of "Smooth Criminal" and another of "Thriller". Lots of spectacular lightning effects and beautiful backdrops will be featured. Of course the show hasn't been completely finalized yet, so parts may come and go, but what I saw is sure to please fans and make fans out of everyone who isn't already.
Directly in front of the stage was a plexiglass case with Michael's fedora and sequined glove on display. A simple but very moving tribute. I'll report in here if I become aware of any other developments in regards to the show.
Why? Why can not they leave the Jacksons out of it? I hope this family does not destroy everything.
Well, thanks to the Lord I only see Jackie. No sign of Jermaine, Randy, Janet and the rest of the gang.
why is Jackie there?

I don't even want Jackie there.. Although he's the only one I like at this point, but him being there just makes it look money grubbing to me.
John Branca looks like a sly crook in that picture.. Not very trustworthy looking at all

Jackie is one of the only Jackson family members who has been working with Branca and McClain for over a year and a half.
