Nobody gives a rat @$$ about that man anymore. He's still ruined Michael since 2003 and he's still partially responsible for him being gone.

Hey, Martin Bashir, here's your proof that Michael Jackson never had plastic surgery on his lips or cheeks, or around the eyes. He just grew up!

MJFFC found a 2003 audio snippet of Bashir claiming his interview wasn’t a traumatic experience for MJ …

Recorded February 2003 from a webinar by ITV in the UK, after the manipulated Living With Michael Jackson documentary aired. Transcript on Instagram. https://t.co/VUkfTtpFNg pic.twitter.com/Vi81Dn5e4n
— MJFFC.org (@MJFFC) April 30, 2020

From their Instagram page:

Found this recorded from my mini-disc archive. It was recorded February 2003 from a webinar by ITV in the UK, after the manipulated Living With Michael Jackson documentary aired. In this snippet George Parker: “I want to finish Martin (Bashir) with two questions. Do you think asks Damien Cuty in Bristol, do you think Michael Jackson could ever recover from this interview?” Martin Bashir: “Do I think Michael Jackson can ever recover? It wasn't a traumatic experience, I don't think he was subjected to an interview that he's never gonna recover from.”

Uri Geler arranged the Martin Bashir interview knowing full well what Bashir was like. The trouble with Bashir was the cultural difference, people of that culture are notoriously judgmental and unsympathetic of the bohemian lifestyle byproducts of western culture, which doesn't exist where they come from. This was the situation with Princess Diana Spencer and even more so for Michael Jackson, I'll quote "but you're not Peter Pan, you're Michael Jackson", he literally didn't grasp the concept that someone could LIVE their life in metaphor. And that's a limitation of their culture, it just doesn't have that sophistication.

This kind of simplified generalization is unfortunate.

What culture are you referring to?

And don't get me wrong - Bashir is someone whom strongly dislike. And I cannot wait for the day when the public takes another look at that documentary and see how unfair it was to Michael. It may take some time for that to happen, but I really hope it does.

But we cannot denigrate a 'culture' when we are looking at the behaviour of one man.
