FBI files released on Michael Jackson molestation allegations

Astounding papers have been made public by the FBI on Michael Jackson allegations involving child molestation.

FBI releases Michael Jackson files
The secret dossier on the late King of Pop has released information about claims that go as far back as the early 1980s, reports say.
The Los Angeles Police Department asked for the FBI's involvement to help with their sex probe on Jackson and were astonished by the findings.
In 1993 a Canadian couple told investigators that she and her husband, both social workers, were disturbed by the pop-star's behaviour on a train in 1992.
The Toronto woman said that ***** and his entourage had four train compartments near them on the way to California and the singer was accompanied by a 12 or 13-year-old boy, identified as his 'cousin' to anyone who asked.
The women told police, "Jackson was very possessive of the boy at night", and continued that she heard "questionable noises through the wall".
She reported her suspicions to the train conductor and took part in the investigation surrounding ***** molesting Jordie Chandler – a young boy who had been travelling with him.
Over 300 pages of documents show further antics which the 'Thriller' singer was involved in, including a seized video tape relating to child-porn.
A cover up from the mid- 1980s also came to light, regarding ***** being accused of molesting two Mexican boys.
Detectives have travelled abroad to collect interviews and information for the molestation inquiry.
The FBI papers were made public after The Post and other media requested them.

I think we should complain to the PCC about this twisting of information and insinuation. Disgusting.

The most obvious breach of the code of practice is this clause :

1

Accuracy

i) The Press must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information, including pictures.
ii) A significant inaccuracy, misleading statement or distortion once recognised must be corrected, promptly and with due prominence, and - where appropriate - an apology published.
iii) The Press, whilst free to be partisan, must distinguish clearly between comment, conjecture and fact.
iv) A publication must report fairly and accurately the outcome of an action for defamation to which it has been a party, unless an agreed settlement states otherwise, or an agreed statement is published.

Read the code here http://www.pcc.org.uk/cop/practice.html and describe in the complaints form how the metro have breached the clauses.

The Metro is a free paper that is handed out all over the UK and is often left on public transport for people to read.

As we know by reading the FBI files the tape was seized by US Customs in Florida as part of an investigation unrelated to Michael and was passed on to the FBI. It is his name being in the title which relates it to him. The FBI files do NOT state it found in Jackson's home or anywhere near his possession. It was analysed and the quality was poor to determine what the tape was of. Both these facts have been left out of the article and instead insinuates and leads people to think the worst.

Edit: Also.. They present information about the Mexican boy & 'cover up' etc. as the FBI findings when they are not, those are allegations the FBI was investigating. Those are not their findings.

Come on people, they are leading people to think MJ had child porn!

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

Just complained.

It breaches clause 1 (i) because it distorts factual information. It breaches clause 1 (iii) because it misrepresents conjecture as fact (the mid-1980s claim was attributed to an unnamed source, while the newspaper insinuated that it was factual and supported by the FBI).

And it breaches clause 2 because the paper doesn't seem to have given MJ's estate or family the right to refute the claims.

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

Jesus christ. This source is leaving out important info...what's that stuff about the train? Surely there would have been an investigation if this really happened, come on now.

Which is why you must complain!

MJ's fans can't really whinge about such coverage if they're not prepared to take the right steps towards stamping it out.

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

How do I complain? The link doesn't work.

I think we should join the MJ fanclubs together and fight the media all together.

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

The link to the article doesn't work because this forum covers up the word j.a.c.k.o so when you click the link replace the stars with that word.

Complain guys.

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

bump. i think this is important.

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

Guys, we all know that all these twisted stories are all lies. There was NEVER any evidence of such material within Michael's home, including nothing on the 16 or more computers searched in his home. Michael was completely innocent of any criminal or negligent wrongdoing. But the witchhunt still continues. It seems that no matter how much the fans protest, our cries fall on deaf ears. Until there is someone close to Michael that stands up with real sincerity and fire and passion against all this brutality, his reputation and legacy will continue to be dragged through the mud. This fight is not only important for his name, but for the lives of his 3 children who are also being attacked on several internet sites, TV media and by people on YT. I don't know who that will be, but we need a big voice to come out and say enough is enough!

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

Read all 300 pages of the FBI report. The tape they found wasn't even found at Neverland--it was a multigenerational copy of something which could hardly be made out. The tape's only relation to Michael is the fact that it had his name on the label, and that's where it ends. It wasn't in his handwriting, otherwise they would have said so.

Unfortunately, anyone who reads these articles and takes them as truth is missing out on just that. The only way to find truth is to go and investigate things for yourself. Then again, I suppose this is asking too much from people who take their personal truths from parents, teachers, priests, ancient texts, tabloids, TV, etc.

The so-called "Neverland Favourites" tape was given a passing mention as there was nothing even found on it. Furthermore, an anthology is, by definition, a collection of -written- work by various authors. How could a VHS of the alleged material possibly be an anthology, if they're claiming it was "Michael Jackson's favourites"? I love how people contradict themselves in their lies. It's too comical. xD

Don't waste your time, people. Michael was innocent and the FBI reports, complete with their sixteen pages of "NOTHING" scrawled on them [concerning the scanning of all the computers at Neverland], among other things, proves it.

Re: Metro Insinuation about VHS tape

I see they have now removed the comments from the page.

I got an email back from the pcc.. the usual thing - you're a third party, we don't normally let you complain, the jackson's should complain.. we have contacted them etc.. - well I'm still going to email back. They told us this last time (the guardian article) but because we didn't give up they did investigate it and sent us a full report.. but they still didn't do anything about the article. This is different though, they can actually see how the info from the fbi files has been manipulated.

they do say (it is way past the 10 days now but oh well, I'll still reply) - ''however, if you believe our normal rules should be waived to allow us to take your case further (or if you do not consider yourself to be a third party in this matter) we would be grateful to hear from you in the next ten days'' ..
