"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

There is no confirmation of a part 2. But even if they did somehow do one, then they can’t cover the allegations. Have you actually read the settlement? Do you understand what a legally binding agreement is?
Unfortunately (or in that case fortunately) there were a lot of allegations in Michael's life. And as it's usually described in credit titles "some of the real events were dramatized, fictionalized and changed in this movie". We'll see this phrase in any case. It's a standard for movies based on true events.

I'm not sure it would be a good idea to spend a big part of the sequel covering them. If they cover them then they have to give them a lot of time. Especially 2005. I'm not sure If want to see that kind of movie as a fan. I'm sure most want them to focus on the music.

IMO they can easily make 2 movies whilst covering the allegations, if they use it together with flashbacks/concerts well enough to keep it interesting and not too heavy. I would say the accusations are a godsend to make exciting, dramatic movies and can even act as a cliffhanger at the end of the first part. That's why I think this willl happen, despite the rumours

I think I get what you are trying to say, but Jesus I'm after bursting at my desk at work when I read this line :ROFLMAO:. A godsend indeed!

Fits the heroes journey at least in terms of filmmaking, apart from the tragic ending.
... yeah but calling multiple accusations of sexually molesting children a "godsend" because it makes for great TV is a bit mad is what I'm saying.

That's like saying "It's a blessing World War 2 happened because Saving Private Ryan was amazing".

MJ can rest easy knowing he went through all that, made a good film at the end of the day.

The movie ends with two songs in the credits:

In the mid-credits
you'll hear the brand-new single
"Innocent J. McClain"

After that the credits will continue to roll and
- by request by a certain s/o -
end with yet another brand-new song:
"Branca No".

Exciting times for long-term music enthusiasts, no doubt.

On a more serious note: IIRC Sony told me we'll hear more about a certain track...
What Song? Hot Street?

This is awesome
Great footage , I’m convinced by Jaafar as MJ performance wise

Did anyone catch the brief footage at 1.51? Gotta be MITM? That’s twice they have shown footage , once from the teaser and then this behind the scenes.

It gives me hope that we will see MITM at the end of this movie, despite the rumours we won’t

The press interviews are gonna be so interesting, I can't wait to hear more from Jaafar about how it was like for him to portray as his uncle, it must've taken a toll on him. Plus I'd love to know things like if there was a scene in particular that was the most difficult for him to shoot, or how it was like for him to prepare for the role. Those dance routines had to have been a grind by its own right lol.
