I hope I'm overracting, but that don't sound good, that not about if Michael should have left his brothers, I don't know why you talk about that, it's how you show that in a respectful way, that don't seem the case here.

But Back to Black alluded that Amy all but killed herself after learning that her ex had just had a baby. I don't expect anything near that level of assassination without proof.

Michael isn't shown as weak. I don't think other peoples importance will be beyond what fans are expecting. There was actually a couple last minute changes for the better.. After watching the movie, look back at the trailer, you'll pick up on one of the changes.

Because peoples like you, and apparently this director, seem to think Bad was his peak of his career and that simply untrue, it was seen like a big letdown.
 
If I had them, I would rather see a concert film about the history tour Prague 96, which was also planned, would be more important to me than a biopic

The biggest though was the mention that we’re all looking for that moment again , and it’s Michael, but he’s not even here or something along those lines!

I hope they did not mean that despite a good portrayal from Jaafar, it still lacked that magic that the real MJ brought

One thing I will probably never understand about this family and I’m saying this after seeing the latest news about Janet and Jermaine! I know the Jackson family was never near to perfect. Michael himself didn’t always have the easiest relationship with them and sometimes he clearly tried to stay away from the family drama? But what I don’t understand is this, now that Michael is gone, why can’t they just come together once and do something as a family for him? I mean all of them like the Jackson siblings, Michael’s kids, just come together and create something in his memory? It doesn’t have to be anything huge or global. It could be a documentary, a film, an album, anything really. Just a space where they talk about Michael, share their memories, say the things they maybe never had the chance to say to him when he was alive. Because right now it feels like everyone just does their own thing and then when a project comes out someone else suddenly has a problem with it. That’s what confuses me, If someone doesn’t want to be involved, fine then stay quiet but why come out later and create more mess around it? I truly believe that if the whole family actually came together and made something together for Michael, the fans would feel that love immediately. Because then it wouldn’t feel like separate opinions and separate projects! Right now it just feels like pieces going in different directions and then coming back only to argue about who is right

That would be great but I think it's not that easy to "just come together" when there are some conflicts going on. We don't know everything that happened or happens between them, so we can't judge from the outside. Sometimes there are barriers that can't be broken down so easily. Especially in families.
 
The biopic will be a (somewhat) fictitious movie, so the decision of Branca to do a biopic instead of a documentary remains a missed oppurtunity to me.
Sure documentaries are becoming a bit out of fashion by now, but there must be something where the general public can learn the facts about MJ and his tribulations with actual MJ footage?

are reporting huge sellout rates.

Lincoln, specifically,just had to add another
imax showing due to the demand.

this launch was strategically timed to
coincide with the anniversary of Billie Jean's
MTV debut.

this heritage marketing drove a 350% in
Standard morning traffic compared to
typical blockbuster pre-sales,according
to early technical load reports.

AMC Lincoln added a second early imax
screening for Michael today due to the sales
of the first showing& tickets are moving
very fast in a short time.

this looks like another sellout coming.
UNREAL,if this demand holds internationally
then 1.6-2B is in play.

I don't really know if I agree with Coleman Domingo's views on Joe Jackson's 'humanity': Yes of course Joseph was also formed by his generation and social upbringing but from all accounts known about him he mostly comes off as a sociopath to me; unable to have emphathy and merely in it for himself instead of 'wanting the best for his children'

No it's not, it was during the Thriller era, Bad was probably one of the worst moment of his career in term of reputation, it was here that he was seen no more like an artist but simply like someone crazy.

I think Dangeorus era post allegations and beyond were prob the worst moments in his career in terms of reputation.

BAD, whilst never selling as much as Thriller - was still a massive success filled with classic hit singles and the iconic BAD tour. He was larger than life during this period and this is where his true god like status came from.

He was bigger, more famous , more fans freaking out over him etc , I’d say it was his peak as a fully fledged solo artist.
