apparently goin to rio was performed on film a couple of hours into the rehearsal. MJ thought that particular outtake had no.1 hit potential and was considering showcasing it to the world for that 2001 performance, would you like the multitracks to that?

I think that rehearsal video of ‘Billie Jean’ was recorded after the first show.

MJ realized that his first show (7 September) was full of mistakes, so he focused more on his second show (that’s why the televised version consists of footage mostly from that second show).

Every step of MJ was being recorded, let alone rehearsals…
 
I just hope we will one day be able to see the full rehearsal footage !!

He had videographers film damn near every aspect of his life. Just because we haven't seen these things doesn't mean they aren't out there. We were never meant to see any of this stuff. He always had stuff filmed for his personal collection, and if needed, for a behind the scenes stuff.

Hopefully A LOT of this footage will be released in a kind of collectors label or as extra material to concert releases.

The We Are the World part after the concert has never been officially shown on TV - so hopefully when the MSG concert is released it will be the full concert with everything. - Also Voice warm up etc. etc.
