Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour ~ The O2 Performance ~ October 12th, 2012

There is not one good review from the media there? Oh well it's what the people think that matters. It sounds like everyone had a good time. Last year when I saw it the part I cried the most when they did I'll be there and you hear Michael when he was young singing. Man in the Mirror too. It's a great tribute to Michael. The fact that you can bring your kids and everybody is what Michael would have wanted too. It should be for everybody.

Just at the airport for London now to see the Immortal show tonight. Really enjoy reading what you guys have written and can't WAIT to see the show later today.
Also, looking forward to going around London, I've never been there before!

Enjoy London too! One of the best cities you'll ever go to (i'm biased, i know).

Beyond words. So emotional... It was so perfect for Michael. He would have loved it as much as I did...

I'm going to see it again this Friday and can't wait! :D Immortal is just MAGICAL!!!

Here is a report from a top german news agency. Very interesting to read that the London crowd was going wild :) I wonder if the bristish press was at the same show :shifty::kickass:

London (dapd). ... Quote: "Das Londoner Publikum hält nichts mehr in den Sitzen, die Leute singen und tanzen mit". ... The London audience are jumping out of their seats - singing and dancing...

..... "Der immense Aufwand an Bühnentechnik, Akrobatik und Phantasie holt die Menschen für zwei Stunden aus einer harten Realität ab. Mehr Neverland geht nicht." ....the show gets people off for two hours from a harsh reality. More of Neverland spirit is impossible. :clapping:

Travis Payne & his group of people were out of their seats dancing during a lot of the first nights show :D

In the article Travis says: "He (Michael) would make the music louder (if he were here). His concerts would have been a big Rock'n'Roll experience. This is an entirely different concept".
So how loud was the Immortal Show in London? What about the sound quality?

Sound quality was the best I'd ever heard at a venue- was truly perfect.

I thought they probably could not make it louder without it being a health hazard! Where I was sitting (on the ground floor) the sound level was plenty loud enough, without being painful. However the bass vibrations were sometimes tangible and very occasionally were just below the point of being uncomfortable. I've stood next to concert speakers before, where the sound level was painful to the ears, but not felt so much bass vibration. (and I agree, the quality was excellent...very crisp, and Michael's voice in the ballads was beautiful, clear and pure)

The sound was almost perfect and the bass was THUMPING! Almost at one point making me breathless.

I agree, the sound was perfect, my girlfriend who isn't a big fan kept going on about how good the sound was.

I hope many people "get it" with this show, the magic of MJ...
Is anyone here a fan because of the cirque show or knows someone who is?

I saw it last Friday at the o2 and it was perfect! Really was magical and I couldn't ask for anything more in a show for Michael! Loved it, and I'm almost certain I will go to see it again next year. Just wonderful!

I went twice last weekend and I really loved it. The second show was better because I was closer to the stage. I love everything about the show and I hope it continues on for many years to come. I would like to see it again next year :D

Jennifer Lopez went to the final show at O2.

REALLY WANT TO GO AGAIN!! It was amazing. I just keep remembering different bits of the show and thinking wow, it is the closest thing to seeing the man himself I think.

Watch out for the tickes for the Birmingham & Manchester shows! There's still tickets available
