just curious, does anyone have the sales totals for michael's singles in the post-motown era? in all my years ive never come across that information.....
 
Just wanted to let everyone know I went to Best Buy today in the USA (Saturday, October 15, 2005) and I believe the reason that ‘The Essential Michael Jackson’ is Michael’s top selling cd right now is because Best Buy in conjunction with Sony/BMG are having an artists Essential sale. If you buy 2 of the artists in the Essential collection you only pay $25 and it comes out to each cd being only $12.50 a piece versus them being $16.99 if you only buy one of them. Also the Essential has all of the hits from Michael’s biggest albums and it’s a lot cheaper to buy right now than his studio albums.
