interviewed, too.

This event is organized by Music on TV, so I don't think there're GLE/Ja-Tail/Weisner's
involvements in this event. Also, people at Music on TV did have approached the Estate and have talked with John B (This is not a official event, though).

Well, no offend to fellow Japanese MJ fans, but I can't understand a lot of them seem to be excited abou this show. It's past 1am here, so I won't go into details about this, but I believe it'll be worse than the recent England one.

They lack everything , all they care about is money . No one should expect them to stop anytime soon , the one who was standing in their way is now dead and left them nothing BUT THREE TREASURES and they do believe everything is a FAIR GAME now.

Mark my word the siblings will do a CD with one if not more of MJ's kids before they turn 18 years old

So much for the "one and only" tribute? I do hope that before this, and similar events by the Jackson family, move forward, that there will be some accountability of "charitable" donations already made from the Wales event? Because, that is how it was advertised, as a "charity event," and donations WERE made. If they donated significantly to charity, that's one thing. If the "charity" is actually a trust-fund for Michael's children to which Katherine has access (and through her, the others?), that's quite another thing.

Something is really wrong with this family; their son, brother, uncle died under horrible conditions, there's a trial and they're going on as if they have nothing to do with them or maybe, they're really as affected by Michael's passing & the current trial as other people are.

I said this a long time ago. For their son/brother to have been killed under horrible conditions this family has never acted like a mournful or grieving family to me.. They all went on on their merry ways consistently thinking of money and their 'careers' We all know what papa Joe did 2 days after MJ's death at the BET awards don't we?:mat: and we all know some comments Katherine, Janet, Rebbie etc made don't we? Their behavior does not demonstrate a loving or caring environment to me

Profits just from merchandising? Bit rich when it seems as if they are stepping on Bravado's toes by using merchandise which they don't have the copyright to.

Yeah they probably should be merged. I had a quick look in the mj news thread (which is obviously where the recent mj family tribute in cardiff has been discussed) and didn't see it, so I didn't realise it was being discussed already.

Well since the Wales tribute, we expected that they would come up with more money making schemes, and here they are. I expect there will be more--in London, somewhere in Asia, and North America. As we know there is a rush to make a lot of Michael connected money before a certain date, so expect more of these schemes.

My question is this, how many more tributes can they do? because at this rate there won't be any point in The Estate organising a PROPER tribute for MJ, people will be so 'tribute out' by then!

Why were we not seeing all this activity by the Jacksons prior to June 25, 2009? it's like Michael's death was a blessing of sorts, 'cause it has allowed them to do what they were'nt able to before. They must realise how all this is playing in the public consciousness.

Exotic, it is bad to say this, but we all know that many careers have been revitalized by Michael's death. I really think that if the Estate puts on a tribute with a suphisticated theme, format and something that we could see Michael creating, everyone would be excited about attending. It is just that we know that a Jackson's tribute is sloopy and has no cohesive theme to it.

My point of view now is to let them go ahead with their various tacky shows, as long as the majority of the fans do not get sucked in. When a real tribute takes place, all these silly concerts will be seen in all their tacky glory. I think a true tribute should be done some years from now, once people get over the bad taste of the Jackson concerts. It is time that people realize that these shows are simply Jackson variety shows. They are simply touring as they wanted to do years ago.

Those kids were poised to have a great future, everyone wanted an interview with them, everyone was interested in seeing them, everyone was talking about how polite, how articulate , how much educated they were . But now they are overexposed, being used to advertize cheap very cheap products and tacky tributes, associated with Zlist managers and producers like the ones their uncles work with. They even joined the family war against the estate. By the age 18 no one will take them serioulsy, I'm really scared someone in that family might convince Paris or Blanket to drop from school and pursue a musical career . They r very capable of doing that.

The siblings r used to being losers for almost most of their adult lives, but what about those three kids ?unlike the rest of the family their future is secured financially, their father left them an empire and they could work with the best people in any domain they choose , the Jacksons don't have that advantage they r broke , old , has-beens no careers , no stable income , dependying on their eldery mother so their choices are always out of desperation , whatever they are offered they consider a plus . Why MJ kids should be treated the same? WHY should they be subjected to the same standards ? That's not fair

What's happening now will greatly affect their future. I'm telling u there is no way that family will allow Blanky to grow up peacefully. They will suck his blood , you will all see.

I so agree. No way all this overexposure isn't going to hurt these kids in the future. I see some fans talking about Disney going after them but I don't think so. I sadly see them going the z or d-list route if they go into the entertainment industry. The leeches that are surrounding them are going to think they know what's best for their careers.

Janet has donated money to help young people, why don't they mention her? Katherine Jackson has a lot of children and grandchildren whom she loves, why can't she simply talk about her love of children and her desire to help? When they continue to insert Michael's name in everything they do, they cannot be surprised if people say they are exploiting his death. The brothers have every right to continue their careers. They will earn much more respect if they just got out there and performed. They don't need to keep piggybacking off Michael. Its not like we don't knw Michael was the lead singer.

I agree. There is such a thing as the law of diminishing returns. They are cheapening the mj brand by their frantic attempts to 'continue his legacy' with books, interviews, concerts etc. The brothers and apparently now taj of 3t are talking of turning the welsh tribute into an annual affair - (although i reckon they'll need another promotor as globalive have prob had enough of mj fans to last a lifetime!). Their claims to want to continue his legacy are so hollow. There's an estate to manage this and mj's music catalogue which speaks more eloquently than they can. It's their carelessness with that legacy which is so damaging, as they just get into deals with any shady business who offers them upfront cash. They just ignore the inevitable bad publicity as to be brutal it doesn't affect them, in the general public's eyes it just attaches itself to mj's image. I so wish they could just do their own thing without bringing mj into it and exploiting his fans.

Look at the last 'tribute'. If the organizers were of AEG caliber and as professional as AEG they would not have organized anything with MJ's name without the estate approval. But they would have expected the estate’s share to be rightfully high which meant less profits for them. Instead of going that route they went to the Jacksons because they knew they were cheaper MUCH cheaper and whatever they were going to offer the Jacksons gladly would accept . That's how it's going to be for MJ's kids. The family wants to profit from anything those kids might want to do, and will make sure everything is made through them.

Has anyone else noticed that the three brothers who Jermaine was pissed at in their reality show as it related to his 'tribute show' and their lack of support are once again the ones he's at odds with as it relates to this tribute show and the one last weekend?

I said it before, the 'timing' of the concert as it relates to the trial was only part of the reason those siblings did not want to participate. There is a noticeable rift in that family.

I agree with you. It is also worth mentioning that the Jackson 3 are featured in a new song by a Japanese artist, Jermaine is again absent.

randy's heart problems aren't that severe, a couple of months ago he released/joined a statement saying he'd love to perform with his brothers, so whatever keeps him/prevents him from taking part of this ain't related to any health problems.
