Daily Star: Simply The Best 7 Days A Week :: News :: Michael Jackson's son prince to give 'key evidence' in his dad's manslaughter trial

18th September 2011
MICHAEL Jackson’s son Prince Michael is to be a star prosecution witness in the manslaughter trial of the King of Pop’s doctor.

A source close to the Jackson family

"The DA’s office and his relatives believe Prince Michael’s evidence is crucial to the case against Dr Murray and could even blow his entire defence out of the water"

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has confirmed Michael Jackson’s 14-year-old son will give “key evidence” against heart specialist Dr Conrad Murray.

And yesterday a family source revealed: “Both the DA’s office and his relatives believe Prince Michael’s evidence is crucial to the case against Dr Murray and could even blow his entire defence out of the water.

“It’s going to be one hell of an ordeal for the youngster but he’s a brave boy and he’s ready.”

Dr Murray denies involuntary manslaughter.

His defence team have said they will set out to prove that Jackson did not die from the regular dosage of anaesthetic propofol administered by Dr Murray.

Instead, they will claim he suffered a fatal overdose in June 2009, aged 50, after “topping up” with illicit supplies of the drug he kept hidden in his master bedroom.

Prince Michael, Jacko’s :rant:eldest son, is likely to give evidence early next month after jury selection, which resumes this week.

He's a brave boy, god bless him. My thoughts are with him and his brother and sister.

I odnt know if this is a bad thing or a good thing but i just hope if it is true, prince is ready for it

Oh wow! Poor Prince, but if his evidence is important then so be it, it's what has to be done unfortunately.

Is this confirmed? If true he's a brave boy and his father will be looking over him from heaven.

Daily star. enough said. this story keeps coming and going. theres not even any info in the article posted. i doubt jr will go anywhere near the witness stand inregards to that day.as he didnt see anything others didnt ie alberto etc

Is this real? If it is , wow he really is a brave child. I hope the law system can really bring some justice for MJ and his kids.

I doubt its real the star is a low end tabloid. how many times have we heard this story.nothibg offical has been said either way.so this story is no diff to all the rest

@elusive, yes thats a very good point, this could be nothing more than tabloid spin.

There is definete possibility since he's in the potential witness list, but I'll wait for confirmation from a reputed news source before I believe this.

Potential witness list and names of ppl who could be mentioned in court.

I agree.

Since this is from a Tabloid and the only source is a family friend, I am going to move this to the controversy section.

Thanks!

I agree with Elusive, we have to consider the source on this one. The Daily Star is a tabloid.

There was a witness list in the court thread and I can't remember seeing his name recently. This like a non-story with no information in it. Now they say he had a stash of the drug in his master bedroom. They are the ones who are saying this now to make some news.
