I'm so proud of us! :yes: We're about 1200 away at the moment ,but it looks like the vampires have come back to life. We have to keep up the pressure.
I usually just go to "sort by votes" and he comes up straight away on the front page.

Vampires?

Pattinson's character is not a vampire. He's a fairy, true vampire don't shine and the sun kills them. So he's an impostor and embarrassment for the real canon of the character!

So you're saying Dracula, the most iconic vampire in history, isn't a vampire ? Dracula is less powerful in the sun but it still isn't fatal to him ;)

Oh and we're almost #1 !! Voted. :D

If i remember correctly in the book, Dracula couldn't go out in the daylight. If I'm wrong, I need to re read that part. What you said happened in Coppola's movie version.

Dunno. I've watched both the 1930s and Coppola's version and I quickly reread the Count Dracula article on Wikipedia which it reconfirmed that. As his powers were immensely weakened during the day, I can see why he avoided going out in it. However, Coppola may have changed somethings about Dracula though for his adaptation, Idk I can't really remember that film.

The first time the concept of 'sunlight being fatal' appeared was in the 1922 film 'Nosferatu', and I believe it was one of the changes to try and help it avoid copyright (as Nosferatu was essentially a remake of Dracula, made without permission). Little bit of history for ya there :p

ANYWAYS MICHAEL JUST HIT #1 :D

YAY, Michael is finally winning! :woohoo: Let's keep him in no. 1.

I watched Nosferatu and Coppola's version. I need to watch full Bela Lugosi's. I could see why they changed some things since the first version didn't have Bram Stoker's family permission to make the movie. I'll check again Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla. He wrote that story 25 years before that Bram Stoker published Dracula.

Nope, I just went there to have a look (and vote), and it said an error occurred. Hmm wonder what's going on now.
Anyway, now that they got all their hits from MJ fans, let's see what happens when they try to publish a negative article. They'll know the power of boycott as well.

Don't think so - I threw in a vote for Katy Perry, and it went through ok. I think they'll let it run for as long as possible, just like Billboard magazine, so they can get plenty of hits.

Could be a number of reasons. I tried voting for Michael, Robert and Gaga and nothing happened when I clicked 'Vote' for any of them. It'll probably be fixed soon :)

I just tried voting and it wouldn't let the vote go through. The website seems to be very slow. Thank God our MJ is now number 1 where he belongs.

Yes. Because I had today about 8 o'clock voted for Michael and per computer I may vote only one times a day I had voted at 11:45 with an other person and I could red that my voting was registered to this person.

Just in this moment my friend Medusa called me she also CAN NOT vote for Michael but she can votes for all other persons!!!!!!!!!

What is this meaning? perhaps Vanity Fair want not Michael Jackson one place one and is making a blockade for him?
