Michael performing It's The Falling In Love with Patti Austin at the Budweiser Superfest in 1982

I tried for months to get the source to make a digital copy of the cassette and put it online.

This woman had become a mother while then, and didnt seem to have resources to transfer the cassette to a digital version.

I asked for her to make a copy of the cassette and do the digital thing myself, but she was just focused on being a mother (this exchange lasted for months, since she took looong weeks to answer).

Eventually I lost interest.

Wow , I give my testicles to watch videos of this, someone make it happen!

PS why are the photos blurry?

The original video is still on mj databank but just moved to different directory right? Saw it a few months back still there. Probably the only few seconds that got ever broadcast

Can anyone please post the current link? I have trouble finding it on that page. Thank you...

Is this the video snippet everyone’s talking about?

His hair grew so much from the triumph tour on this video but not much longer in 83....

Very rare indeed! Interesting, as I didn't think that Michael made more than one cameo appearance at the 1982 Superfest, where he reportedly danced a bit but did not sing... Below is one of the very, very few articles ever published describing the event, with pictures. More interesting is that while Michael has a different vest/shirt on in the video, other artists including Valerie Simpson and James Ingram appear to be wearing the same thing--so maybe this all did occur on that day but Michael switched outfits backstage? The LA event went on for nine hours so it's certainly possible!

I will put this post back on top, because I have an update on this one.

Sometime ago, I started making my own research , to find out what exactly he was singing, and I found a person on a PATTI AUSTIN forum, who claimed to have the audio of that festival.

I asked the person if MICHAEL performed IT'S THE FALLING IN LOVE with PATTI, and yesterday, after months, I got this reply:

'' Hi. Michael actually sang "Stuff Like That" with everyone. Ashford & Simpson, Patti Austin and James Ingram. I will try to get that up with today's technology. ''

The video prooves that, now all we need is the audio.

Hope that happens soon.

@analogue

Can't find anything online with Michael doing ITFIL at the Superfest. Some interesting details on this thread, though.

Can you try again? Check again with asking, and bring along your own tools. Or just mention that is available.

The full audio [which was what the woman had] of the festival surfaced online. It was a bootleg vinyl and it was uploaded on múltiple sites. There is nothing more to it [as far as I am concerned].

I believe it should be on Youtube and MJHideout.

Oh, ok. So she has no footage then?
