Michael - The Great Album Debate

I have no idea. It's completely obvious. It gets more and more obvious each time I hear Malachi or a Cascio song, too.

Michael had a powerful amazing voice even up to his last days, sick and heavily medicated. He could still bust out some powerful vocals that some could prefer over the actual recordings.

Michael may have recorded a small small bit for the songs, or he may have been drowned out by Malachi when Malachi recorded over the songs and finished them, but Malachi IS the lead vocalist on the songs. IF Michael is on the songs, he is definitely not the lead vocalist.

The truth will come out!

Here's something I just thought also...

I was watching Chris Brown's 2010 BET Awards Michael Jackson Tribute, here:

In the beginning he starts off doing his best Michael Jackson impersonation, singing The Way You Make Me Feel. It sounds a lot like Michael in spots but you CAN tell it's Chris Brown singing. However, immediately after, Michael Jackson actually does start singing Remember The Time and Chris Brown starts to lipsync.

So if you look at this example you can see how you can identify two separate voices. You can tell that the first voice is Chris Brown, you can hear his vocal characteristics, you can notice the differences from Michael's version of The Way You Make Me Feel.

Then when Remember The Time starts you instantly hear the power of Michael Jackson. The parts where MJ is singing are the most amazing parts. Then Chris starts with Man In The Mirror and starts to cry, as I did too. Michael Jackson was so amazing and there is no one who can really impersonate him 100%. He is the King.

EDIT: Also I'm sorry if someone else has used this Chris Brown example before, I'm sure some other person may have! :)

^^ Thanks Pentum, didn't know that :D Oh and your tudou link they don't work for me?

God bless you guys, because you're die-hard MJ fans just like me, but to see the same group as last year, STILL listening to the pointless comparisons, STILL repeating as a mantra that "it's Jason Malachi", and abolutely ignoring any of the points I've raised, it just shows how people, once they've made up their mind about something, will NOT change.

Let's take the discussion in another direction. How would you react if, in the coming years, one of MJ's children confirmed the songs are authentic?

Paris has tweeted that Hollywood Tonight is not Michael. How do you react to this? Does it change your opinion that Michael sings the song?

First of all, the comparisons are not pointless. They absolutely prove it is Jason Cupeta singing. They also show how people, no matter what proof they are faced with, just don't want to admit they are wrong. If it was Michael on the tracks then the comparisons would not sound like the Cascio tracks. As for the points you've raised, we have addressed and refuted all of them. And like KingmikeJ said, Paris made an erronous statement about Hollywood Tonight, which is understandable as she would have been very young when it was recorded. So any comment they were to make could not be taken with certainty as being factual.

And could you explain why Michael developed all the same vocal nuances as Jason Cupeta just for these 12 songs? And no, processing is not the answer.

No! As far as I am concerned, 6 billion people can say it is not Michael on Hollywood Tonight, I'd still say I hear Michael. The same goes for the Cascio tracks. 6 billion people can say it is Michael, I'd still not hear him.

@lucilla ya, i'd love to hear your theory on why believers think this is his voice. I personally do not believe that anyone who actively posts in this thread thinks it's michael jackson, no matter how many times they tell me "i think it's michael." i just don't believe they really feel that way.

not trying to tell people how THEY themselves feel--but i just don't buy it. i don't believe anyone here really thinks it's him. say what you will.
