^^ I don't know the full lyrics of Burn Tonight as I don't listen to it...
I see what you're saying...they're hinting at an expression but just not getting it quite right...lol...It's poor songwriting...
The flaws I was referring to was you equalling "break of day" to "break of dawn" and on another level making it comparable to "he gave all he's got".
Furthermore, when I asked you to give me what kind of mistakes Michael did in his songs, you posted a sentence from the lyrics which does not break actually any literature rule as it was written in common slang language. Again, it is uncomparable to the tense mistake I pointed out.
So, all I did was saying that there are some flaws in that post. I did not however say that you were an idiot because of that.
If you don't accept to be corrected then fine, I won't do it. Just know that correcting people doesn't mean being condescending with them.
I never told you to go back to school. You told me that and afterwards you said you were joking. Whatever.
Has anyone already discovered where Michael wants to drown in again? In 'Burn Tonight'?
To me it seems the writer wants to use an expression or hints at an expression, like 'Drown in eachother's eyes', or 'drown in passion' or something, but it could also be in the fountain that he mentioned earlier in the song.
This is what I mean.
I join you...:uh_uh:^^ I don't know the full lyrics of Burn Tonight as I don't listen to it...

Anyway, Michael doesn't sing Burn Tonight and I have no problem saying that's a fact![]()
Are the lyrics posted somewhere on the board or on the net? I just know that there is one thread about them, but people were saying that they are fake.
Have you heard the song yet? That thread had fake lyrics...
Nope, and I doubt I will ... but the correct lyrics must be posted somewhere on the net?
Yes I heard the song. Lyrics are on the net. There are a lot of 'fake' lyrics, but I believe these are pretty correct. Not a 100% sure though. Teddy Riley confirmed on Twitter he wasn't pleased the song leaked. Quote after he was asked what he felt about that: "Not happy but it is what it is".Milka;3465346 said:Are the lyrics posted somewhere on the board or on the net? That's where I got these from too, lol. Used them in a post, so was easy for me to find. They are also on the net and almost correct, but it takes some searching to find them.^ hahaha...ok, mine are wrong...oops..I know those lyrics were posted on MaxJax, but I couldn't find them..
^^ Trust me, the song is as fake as the lyrics I posted ... It's absolutely not Michael's voice..
^^ The snort is exactly like in Malachi's music though...It's been found in several of his songs...And we've never heard Michael snort like that before lol...There's no way that's a coincidence...
You'd have to hear the song...No point debating Burn Tonight if you haven't heard it...To me, there's no debate...
Well, I'm sure it happened to him as well occasionally, but of course they fixed that. And can you give me examples for those Malachi songs? Or links?
The best way to hear them are through the comparisons to the actual Cascio tracks that TPIMaster has made...He's been banned from here and the comparison links are always removed...I'm not sure who has them or where to find them now...
I think so too. Extremely convincing.^ Great Comparison!
Just let it simmer for a while...Chamife, the second link sounds great actually.
Can't tell you what I think about it, I'm still in the "I don't have an opinion anymore" mode.
Equalling "break of day" to "break of dawn" - linguistics is not an exact science like math (which is one of the reasons why I gave you this link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_orthography_reform_of_1996 - language teachers and authors were among the first to protest).
So things sometimes are open to interpretation. I also didn't really equal it, I explained that "dawn" and "day" are 2 different things, so of course they can both "break".
I did not compare that to anything, another thing you put in my mouth. My point with that was that the notion "there are no grammar mistakes allowed in art" is wrong.
Like I said, you put words in my mouth and then called that "flaws". I never called you an idiot, and I never would. I said you are condescending.
If you put things in my mouth and then correct them, when I never said that, that's also condescending. And also a sign that you don't really want to hear my opinion and why I have this opinion (which I also explained), but that you want to "win" the discussion. You also said things that were directly condescending, but whatever, I don't care, I won't go look for them.
Yes, it was a joke. I told you we don't speak the same language, you don't get my sense of humor. And maybe you also take yourself a bit too seriously, you are acting like you know everything sometimes and nobody is allowed to question anything you say ...
