Michael - The Great Album Debate

I think what Dorian meant by copy and paste is copying and pasting in order to make the lyrics, vs. KYHU which just directly pasted Earth Song adlibs, not combining them with Jason's voice.

KEEP comparison, done at BN's original pitch (by lowering Invincible, and then at Invincible's original pitch.

These tracks have no defense.

Also, it is a year ago today that the abomination that is Breaking News premiered.

Ahhh....i remember when there was hpye for a new MJ song. So happy, but then its like....whats this? Should this be released?

Well, it was an open and shut case...as much as it's obvious to us it's not Michael singing, taking these songs to court will lead us nowhere....

ugh, that's true...can't believe it's been a full year....

Weve got nowhere, endless bickering. Countless comparisons, no hard concrete evidence a year on...saying nobody can scream like michael can, talking about wbss akon background vocals when your suppose to be addressing the three cascio tracks, and telling us your pushing buttons means nothing....smh justice for the fans

As far as I am concerned the comparisons prove that the vocalist is Jason. And there is plenty of supporting evidence to go with that. And let's not forget that there is not one scrap of evidence that Michael recorded these songs.

Are you referring to what Eddie said in the documentary because we haven't been discussing Akon's vocals in WBSS 2008; we have been discussing Michael's. They were recorded in the same studio at the same time as these songs are alleged to have been. Despite that, they sound absolutely fine. No shaky vibrato, strange accent or any other Jason vocal mannerism as are present on the other tracks. They tell us what Michael did sound like at that time and in that place, which is very different to the songs in question, hence those vocals are extremely important to this discussion.

can't forget about the day that you were mine...
now I'm lying in the dark,
slowly (snort) dying from my broken heart

anyone up for a video for Breaking News?
"Everybody wantin a piece of Miykyll Jaxxen" - someone is MJ and paparazzi take his hat, his glove his nose
then we need some reporters stalking the moves - "OMG HE'S DOING THE MOONWALK"

and the bridge part:
all the news today (they say) we're crazy - get some reporters on TV saying "YOU'RE CRAZY!"
and onn the screens today, we're on display - put a stupid picture of the actors onto the screen with a O_O look

how about KYHU:
woman looks for a job...
huh she's a mother?
chorus
environmentalism much?

Michael Jackson: All Right - Live at Olympic Stadium Munich!
Any of u watched Beyblade as a kid?
"We can walk away,
but I turned my head to see if you would stay,
dadadadadadayyyy
beybladeeeeee!"

BTW SME is also removing Cascio tracks... I did a piano cover of Water and it was removed! geez... few take offence to such covers!

Does anyone else think the way Jason says "buaybuaayyy"(baby) in that one song really stands out that it's not Michael? I haven't heard it in a while, can't recall the name of the Cascio song it's from, but it comes to me often... it's quite weird and un-Michael.

I think it might be All Right the "beyblade" joke from the previous post but I'm not sure.

I don't think All Right sounds like him at all, except the beginning "oooh myyy". Another horrible part is the last "everything will be just fine" sounds overly sappy and boyband-ish

Now we know who sang All Right:

Well hes something new, I’m here for you
And theres no need to cry [ooohhhhh]

~Black Widow Lyrics

[Ha!] [G’on] [Dog’one, Aoww!]
She drink to the mind
She drink to your fate
You walkin the line
She making you stay
She keeping the count
She making you pay
She ready again, get ready again

Don’t stop, she wants you boy [don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop]
She needs you boy [don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop]
She wants you boy [don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop…][oooh ohh]
Don’t you see she got….

Black Widow on my mind [get ready, baby]
In a web of seduction [stop lying baby]
Shes a looking the women
Shes something to say [get ready, get funky]
Shes no friend of mine [Shes the one, the one for me]
[Dah!] She fed you a lie….]

Ready 2 Win

Its time up put away your fears [do do do (uh) do do do]
And its time you try to dream a little bit [do do do (ah) do do do]
Its time you give your dreams, another chance [do do do, do do do]
And its time to take away the winning hand
To the plain that’s burning strong, to the rain has come and gone
Ill be holding on to memories, I can make it on my own
I believe I’m ready to win,
I know I’m ready to soar
If you pick me up, when I get down, turn it all around
I know I’m ready to win

Fall in love

[uhhhhhohhhhhh]
Tear me apart, break me heart
Let me in this wonder land with you
Your desire warms my heart
I love you from the moment of your sigh

She said she wanna fall in love
She said she wanna give it up [oh]
She said she wanna turn my life, all around
She said she wanna play the game
I love you when you say my name
I love it when you say you want, me around

{I wanna fall, wanna fall in love with you}
{Ooh, just let me fall, let me fall [let me fall with you] in love with you}
{Girl, just let me fall, let me fall in love [with you]}
{Please just let me fall in love with you} [myyyeyye] [oh]

Allright

{cuts into end of sentence}[eee]
[ohh wooowow] [uh]
We can walk away, but I turn my head to see if will {taaakemaaayk?} baby
We can laugh today, then I’m hoping that we throw the storms away [yea yea yea yeaaa]
Baby don’t you leave me standing here
Why you leave me waiting here
Now you got me here in tears

[hold me] hold me tonight [ahh]
Swear to love tonight [uh-yeaa]
Its gonna be all right [myyy]
And everything will be just fine
If you lovin’ me tonight
[tell me that it will be all right, said its going to be just fine]
Gonna be all right, and every things just fine [yea-yeaaa]
And everything will be just fine [dah]

If you look at the lyrics of allright, you can see that one of the words is very hard to understand. anyways....yea, when i said WBSS AKON, i meant Eddie reffering to Michaels background. Not akon. Akon has nothing to do with the Cascio tracks. He has probobly heard them though.

I just listened to those Cascio jewels again.

Let's assume, they are not demos but already worked on early mixes.

Teddy didn't work on all of them, did he?
Still it seems his fellow producers/mixers had to pitch up Michael Jackson on EVERY Cascio song. Because on EVERY Cascio song we have too fast vibratos. Which means, Eddie Cascio had 12 songs (partly? [see supervoice]) sung by Michael Jackson. However MJs voice was so low, that they decided to re-produce EVERY song they already had, some probably with Porte vocals on them, a few notes higher and then changed the pitch of MJ to match the music (as Teddy told us).

Let's assume Porte and MJ sing simultaneously, maybe sometimes the one more prominent, sometimes the other (aka the famous supervoice theory): Did they pitch up Porte's initial vocals too ? Or did Porte redo them afterwards? Did he have difficulties singing so high? (it must have been really a challenge for him, since this difference in pitch messed up MJs vibrato so badly)

=> the pitching up excuse as well as the supervoice theory make no sense.

The excuse may have worked for 3 songs, not for 12 though. I always knew, once we hear them all, we're able to put the 3 released into perspective. And this is exactly what converted many former believers.

And even IF the supervoice and pitching up was true, they would never release such a crappy, controversial vocal production. Unless they believed, it was indeed MJ for 100% on the lead vocals. And this also is the official standpoint. The supervoice is only a fanmade excuse. Neither Sony nor Teddy nor Eddie nor anyone did ever state such a thing.

What about that comparison? Could you elaborate?
Is one of them BW ? I forgot how that sounded.
The singer is singing the exact same melody. One song is a Cascio song. One song is Jason's song.

Remotely comparable. Not the exact same melody though.

Still, it's another small piece of the puzzle. :kickass2:

I somehow lost BW ... what a shame ... :D

I'd say the chance of Michael doing the exact (almost) same melody in a song where he sounds like Jason Malachi, same vibrato, different accent than his own, same pronunciation as JM, and more, is about zero.

That's for sure. Still we need to be precise to maintain credibility. I wouldn't call it almost the same as it's really not. But given the previous evidence, it surely fits the whole scenario and therefore is a valid point.

Well, I kinda disagree. To me, it sounds like ALMOST the exact same melody, but he is just doing it a different way in each.

Pentum, do you have any info on that new Malachi tune? I mean, how new is it? You think it's something from this year or maybe something recorded prior to "michael" premiere? And where did you get it in the first pleace. If it's something really new that could mean that Jason is about to come out of his hideout soon which could be interesting.

I really don't want to fight my own team, but the melodies share only 2 notes (a and d). Those notes are indeed emphasized at both melodies (being longer than the others), which brings the obvious similarity.

However the rhythm differs as the notes in melody 1 are a quarter at most, where as those in melody 2 are one and a half quarters. Also melody 1 contains only notes from a broken D-minor triad (except for one), where as melody 2 does not.

A bit similar: yes
(almost) the same: no

It's just for the sake of precision.
I totally see your point and am thankful that you found it.

See notation below. For comparison purposes I wrote the second melody in eighths.

Oh I see, false alarm then. It further proves that Jason's VEVO account is fake if anyone still had any doubts.

It is?
The acapellas of his songs appeared there first though, right?
Do you think, his manager created the account?
