I don't know what Birchey was thinking. All songs suck lyrically (Monster, KYHU, Stay, Breaking News, Burn Tonight, Soldier Boy...). Those lyrics are not written by Michael Jackson. Music is good on some tracks, on some tracks it is great like Monster and Breaking News. He might have written some of those melodies and grooves. But vocals are pure crap.

You can’t have it both ways regarding the Cascios’ involvement. If a hoax has taken place, it is not just Eddie who is involved. It’s also his WHOLE family, including his father and mother, because whatever recording took place – or didn’t – they know about it, since it took place – or didn’t – in their home. So if Eddie’s a traitor and a liar and a fraudster, his WHOLE family is too. And if you think it makes no sense that such a large number of people would go along with such a hare-brained scheme, and then never spill the beans, well, you’re right.

I enjoy reading Birchey’s comments. Korgnex : do you have any more? They are important in the sense that he really did access information that we don’t have. His comments above show how subjective and arbitrary the anti-Cascio people can be: a song that to one of them is obviously not MJ, “because MJ would never write something as terrible”, to another is “a great track, that maybe MJ wrote, but didn’t sing on”.

Here you go again with "anti-Cascio people". Why are you doing that? Is that some kind of provocation or what? That ain't cool. We don't have anything against Eddie and his whole family, but we have everything against the songs he created and sold to Sony with the name of Michael Jackson. Of course that he and his whole family deserve to be bashed and even hated and "people should throw tomatoes at them", but that is only because their son (with help of James Porte and the vocalist) manufactured those fake songs. It is all about the fake songs, it's not about who created them. If will.i.am, RedOne or Brad Buxer created them it would be the same thing.

I'm sorry but how can you generalize it to the whole family? I can assure you that as a 30 + year old adult even though I might be with my family in the same house at times they do not know 90% of the things that I do.

Imagine that they saw Michael hang with Eddie in the basement but left to work at their restaurants. They might not have any first hand knowledge or any involvement.

I think you really need to take a look to the man in the mirror. I don't think it's appropriate to motivate hate and physical attacks on anyone. This is one of the reasons why some of the doubter mindset is a serious turn off for some of the other people. And this is one of the reasons why you'll never have the parties involved to talk to you. Arguments are won rationally and in a civil manner. No one responds to a lynching mob. Also no one from the general public would take "people should throw tomatoes at them" seriously. If you post such stuff on other public platforms, the doubter would be seen as another set of "crazy" Michael Jackson fans. If you want to be taken seriously you need to have a more political approach.

@Ivy : I find it hard to believe, if MJ did not record those 12 songs, that the whole family could somehow think he did, when the whole thing had to happen in their own house. I'm aware not everything that goes on in a given household is known to every member of said household, but a world-famous megastar recording in the basement is something that I would think Eddie would have mentioned to his parents when they came home from the restaurant.

@OnirMJ : I'm not using "anti-Cascio" for any particular reason; it's just a term I use. I can use anti-fake, or doubter; they're all synonyms to me. I mean "anti-Cascio" in the sense of "anti-Cascio SONGS". As a token of my good faith, I'll use "doubters" from now on. Let's not get hung up on words.

@Stella : Not surprised you would put me on ignore : it's so convenient to just ignore posts, opinions or info that contradict one's way of thinking. I've never put anyone on ignore my whole life, because I'd rather debate people who offend or disagree with me rather than hide from what they have to say. I can assure you that, at my age, with a wife and two kids, life is too short to "troll" on an Internet forum. But debating and finding out about the truth is a worthwhile entreprise at any age!

@Korgnex : isn't Birchey the guy who hacked Sony's servers and got out with a bunch of songs and screenshots? So he certainly has access to info I don't have.

I don't mean to butt in, but it's called lying. As far as I'm aware, Eddie got $5 million for the songs. If the Cascios were in dire need of money, it's easy for him to walk around, hand out a few thousand to each family member and say, "No matter what ANYONE says, these songs are real." And don't say that "it's not plausible," because it totally is. Some people have gone through much worse to get money, so who's to say that the Cascios wouldn't do the same?
