Hey MJJC people,

Here's the press release about our clubnight which is being held in Brighton on Friday 4 December 2009. There's also a facebook link at the bottom of the page, where you can leave you contact details.

A fundraising club night in aid of The Relief Fund for Romania, to celebrate the music of a legend and featuring the music of Michael Jackson, The Jacksons and the Jackson 5.

Join us at this festive clubnight as we celebrate the wonderful music of Michael Jackson.

We’ll take a journey through a lifetime of hits, from his beginnings on Motown with the Jackson 5 right through to his incredible, record-breaking solo releases such as ‘Thriller’ and ‘HiStory’.

On the way, we’ll be playing early classics such as ‘ABC’ and ‘The Love You Save’, whilst spinning some of Michael’s amazing disco hits with The Jacksons, including ‘Can You Feel it?’ and ‘Dancing Machine’.

Fans will also recognise some of the many collaborations Michael has featured on during his astonishing career such as ‘Muscles’, ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ and ‘State of Shock’. We’ll be playing all of these and more....

So come along to ‘Michael Jackson – His Life in Music’ and help us to celebrate what we’re affectionately naming, ‘Michael-mas’... a clubnight of Christmas magic and the magic that was...Michael Jackson.

Lookalikes and dancers will be warmly welcomed and prizes given to ‘Best Dressed M.J. Fans’

Limited accommodation is available at a nearby hostel at a reasonable rate. For those requiring accommodation, please leave details and someone will get back to you shortly.

A table has been reserved from 7.30pm for us all at The Smugglers, 10 Ship Street, Brighton, which is right next to The Loft, where the clubnight is being held.

Please go to the bar when you arrive and ask for the table which is being reserved for attendees of the 'Michael Jackson' night at The Loft and they can show you where the table is.

Glad you can make it.

Blueeyedbelle - shame you can't come. There's a hostel very, very nearby to the club if you're stuck for accommodation. I'm sure quite a few people coming down to the night will be staying there.

I will def try and see if I can make it. Loved seeing you guy yesterday and I'm sure I can find somewhere to stay. I just don't know anyone in Brighton!

The hostel is just around the corner from the venue. It's only 20 odd quid for the night and is really clean and comfortable. Let me know if you need any details and I'll drop you a line.

The more true M.J. fans, the better.

Can't believe how quickly time's flying.

At least we've got another Michael related event to look forward to. A whole night of M.J. music & visuals. Yay!

Thanks Sharon, I'll look into it! But now I have to buy a new outfit and I need a new black Fedora in honour of Mike! You guys are going to make me poor I swear!

4 weeks to go!!!

I was wondering, Michaela has put on facebook about reserving spaces on the door for those attending. Can you please reserve a space for myself and Stacey - we will absolutly be there!!!

I know, sooooo excited. I was browsing through New Look the other day and I saw this black sparkly waistcoat and squealed 'OMG that's soooooo Michael!' I didn't buy it though as my wages hadn't come in yet but buying it ASAP for the club night!

Thanks hun. I got a message on FB saying that a space had been reserved for all people that have RSVPed so just want to make sure I haven't reserved two spaces.
