What if you were a WWE wrestler, what would your MJ entrance theme song of choice be?

Mine would be "Another Part Of Me"

I don't know if any of them really fits as a entrance theme but I would pick Bad.

Oooh. That really tingles my interest.

Since I've had my WWE alter ego, I'd go for "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'".

I always hated wrestling. But I do have a liking for Japanese sumo wrestling. Any way if I was a wrestler. I will most definitely go with Dangerous. With me being a girl I think the song would be perfect for me.

Dangerous is a good one!

I think I would go with Scream. The theme of that song would be perfect for a wrestler who has been screwed over countless times and is tired of it.

Mine would be Bad! Like, I can imagine me striking a pose during that blast of four horn stabs from the very beginning of the song. Then, I'd move slowly to that 16 figure drum pattern that pans left and right as I go down the runway.

In fact, a MJ’s song was used as an entrance song when Sugar Ray Leonard fought against Roberto Duran in their third meeting.

That box fight took place at ‘Mirage Hotel & Casino’ in 1989 (Las Vegas, Nevada, USA).

Sugar Ray Leonard chose MJ’s ‘Leave Me Alone’ as his entrance song.

MJ attended also that particular box fight:

This is hilarious-I know a ton of celebrities go to these big fights in Vegas, but Michael is probably the LAST person I'd ever expect to see at one. I wouldn't have believed this if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Anybody know why he was there?

Also, the ones respect posted were quite hilarious too-first you have the commentators decrying the bad taste of the Halloween cemetery theme, then you see the fighters coming out dancing away down the runway. Too funny.

I remember a photo of MJ at a box match in Vegas in his last years too.

Also the T-shirt he is wearing here. That name, Thomas Hearns, is the name of a boxer:

^^^Hahaha. You are RIGHT-and I can't stop laughing. I saw that guys name on the title of a video when I pulled this one up on YouTube.

I have been wondering about the name on this t-shirt for only about 30 YEARS!! Lol.

I figured it was a fashion designer or something.

MJ’s appearance at that boxing event did not come out of the blue.

The ‘Mirage Hotel & Casino’ opened its gates for the first time in November (1989).

But, MJ & Steve Wynn (the one who built the ‘Mirage Hotel & Casino’) had already been friends & business partners even before that particular boxing fight.

In 1989, MJ along with Wynn considered also the possibility of undertaking together several business projects in the Las Vegas area (a family oriented/water-themed park, a Michael Jackson oriented memorabilia/souvenirs attraction, etc.).

OMG you're kidding! I thought most everyone knew who Thomas Hearns is!
I guess it depends on where a person is from, eh? No worries tho, my friend.

Respect, nice find on those videos. They were actually pretty fun to watch, especially the one with Prince Nasseem.

Is this him? Even with the captions I can't be 100% sure.*squints*

Well, you'd think I'd know who he is since I'm from the US and we're similar in age-BUT it probably is also about what you're into-for me sports-and especially VIOLENT sports-I know nothing about. I won't even see boxing in movies-the only one I went to see was "Rocky"-I have yet to see "Raging Bull." :(
Yeah, all these years I just assumed it was a fashion designer like Calvin Klein was putting his name on everything back then. So this was really interesting. I see he's Michael's age and from Detroit.

I really do learn something new every day.

(I DID figured out the Steve Wynn connection when I saw this event was at the Mirage, though-I thought Michael was just being nice).

Well, I've never seen Raging Bull and I've only seen bits and pieces of Rocky...any of them. Lol!
I don't like violent movies.... scary ones either.
Actually, I'm not the biggest movie fan in the world but I will catch a good comedy or love story every now and then.

If it weren't for a a few family members, and TV ads from years ago I may not know who Hearns is either.
But that's why I was able to make the connection with MJ's tee shirt. :)

^^im a big movie lover but nothing violent or scary either. Yeah, I feel really dumb because I've usually HEARD of people even if I'm not interested in them.
I have been reading People magazine since 76. LOL.

Dangerous, but I would have the opening beat sequence on for several minues before I emerged and then the vocal part. When I was about to win a fight, Thriller cuts in with the opening stanza "It's close to mid night". My wrestler look would be voodoo chique with a skull painted on my face and feathers in my hair and stuff.

I would call myself "Claws of Jacksonacula" and have a whole voodoo meets Michael Jackson zombie schtick (Even at 39 I have a very active imagination - Michael would be proud).
