Murray Trial- Day 17 - October 25

wow nurse Lee is just... she told she feels dizzy (got caught in traffic) and wants to relax a bit... judge allowed her to step down to relax somewhere

she was about to cry

Judge says they'll let her relax for a bit and then see if there's any improvement in how she's feeling.

u need to stop listening to the ppl on t.v and watch the live stream and nothing else. those on facebook and twitter probably havnt watched a single ounce of testimony

True. Most people are only repeating the comments they hear on TV from the talking heads. That is why it is useful to look at the stream and draw your own conclusions based on facts and expert information. The media has an agenda to show the thinking of the defense. Notice they focus a lot on what the defense will try to prove, because the defense will come up with more negative theories about Michael. I was waiting for the trial to begin on In Session, and there was the main guy (don't know his name) making it seem as though Alverez not mentioning about the prof in the bag in the beginning will be a major blow to the pros case. He was going on and on about it, and really I am not in the jury's heads, but in no way will they focus on that and disregard all the other damaging evidence to back up the pros charge.

Even yesterday she seemed a bit out of it - upset to talk about anything to do with this case. Seems like she felt Mike's loss personally.

To me, she's coming across as if she doesn't want to say anything and also very rude. She doesn't seem ill to me at all. Maybe that's just me but hey, whatever.

lets hope this isnt gonna another delay and they move onto the next witness

I think it's also because she's a hostile witness. Doesn't seem like she wants to co-operate with the defence.

Aww nurse Lee isn't feeling well. She told the judge this has been hard on her. I guess she thought of MJ as her friend as well and this would be tough. Re-watching her testimony yesterday, I kind of like the little digs she took at Murray. At first I thought she was pulling a Murray, covering herself but I think her intent was to show she was doing things (keeping records, taking thorough tests, etc) that Murray should have been doing but never did.

I took the day off from work so I can completely focus on the trial today.

the jury is going back to the jury-room, they will have a short break until Lee feels better

Not the best start to the morning. Judge letting the jurors have a break while Lee has a short rest. Should be back soon.

I'm prepared to give her the be icky of the doubt. You can usually tell if someone is genuinely about to cry and her voice almost quivered then.

her f.b page is full of pro mj groups

She probably can't stand to testify for the defense. Nerves and everything don't help. I would feel sick to if I had to be up there.

There'll be no point the defence pressing her on any issues...she'll not stand up to it.

I don't think she's faking anything.. I think she's genuinely upset and uncomfortable with testifying for the defense. I hope she'll be back on the stand soon. I don't want another major delay...

Romona I agree with you about the blond hair woman--the only one who sticks to facts. By the way the black lawyer on there said how Lee said she heard Michael on the phone begging for prof. I cannot remember Lee saying that. Did any of you recall that. I know lee said she heard him on the phone saying "tell her I am hot and cold on one side." When did Lee say she heard Michael begging?

i guess shes wishing she kept her mouth shut now!

I don't think she regrets what she's did and I still don't think she did anything that harmed Michael, unlike Karen. From the beginning she never blamed Michael or threw him under the bus. She has maintained that Michael wasn't an addict and only wanted to find a way to go to sleep. The fact that she shows that Michael was willing to try other things and he listened to her, unlike what Murray has said in his interview, shows a pattern that isn't link with an addict.

She should had went to the polices first, grant you, but I don't hate her or think she was up to no good when she talked to the media. I think some fans were unfair towards her because they link her with Murray and didn't believe anything she said about propofol.

It almost sounded like nurse Lee was going to say to the judge "I really don't want to be here" but she stopped herself lol. She truly is a hostile witness.

i agree but if she had said nothing she wouldnt be getting questioned now in relation to what mj asked for. and going to the media first before the police is off

I think Lee does not want to be there. Muarry had said that she gave Michael prof and she knows it. She does not want to help his case. However, she did give several interviews in 09 and seemed very composed, so there is something about being a witness that is stressing her out. She does seem upset and sick. Let's see what happens.

"The issue of #conradmurray testifying came up today when attorneys talked about witnesses. Judge said he noticed Murray's name not the list."
