I have no clue who is Alma, I just heard it in a shop and shazammed it.
I suspect that Coming Home by the Jackson 5 may be cover, but in the case I don't know the original.

APOM also reminds me a bit of War's 'Galaxy' (There was more MJ stuff I thought might be inspired by War, just can't remember right now)

Yes, Hollywood Tonight uses a different part of The Hurt's vocals than This Had to Be though.

I wouldn’t attribute it to that, at least not solely. And I was just trying to communicate why it is understandable how @Victorious could interpret the line as ‘gone now.’ No need to go hostile over that, is there?
