I made two comments with zero intent to post beyond that. Someone replied and made inept arguments, so I defended my position bluntly. Every public thread should be open to criticism as much as it is praise. It's fine you have weird taste, per your description, if it makes you smile, whatever. A better question is why you feel the need to reply at all to someone criticizing something you like.

Taste is only "weird" to you because it isn't your taste.

I replied because this whole forum is full of self righteous, egotistical morons. "I don't like this", "I don't agree with that".

It's the fact that so many posters label themselves as "perfect". You didn't need to reply at all.

I can guarantee you the majority of people that aren't overly invested in Michael Jackson find that painting bizarre, self-indulgent, and tasteless. Because it is.

I'll reply wherever I want, get over yourself. Also, show me some posters that have labeled themselves as "perfect". I would love to see it.
