Thanks so much!! xxxooo and HUGS! My heart is going out to Paris so much and I just want to help her. Wish I could. Is there anything we can do as fans? Send her flowers or something--? Maybe that's being done already?

I think both AEG and KJ lawyers have to back off having her testify after this, don't you think?

My heart sank when I saw the news.I'm incredibly sad and concerned :(

Depression is a very tough monster and when it hits you at that age,it does so quite heavily and it's easier to have a sudden reaction to escape the pain and confusion.I was in that same dark place at 14 and I can't pretend I know Paris' motives,but I know I wasn't subjected to half the trauma and pressure she and her brothers have been.

Anyone else believe this could be related to the wade robinson business? I mean imagine some guy accusing your father of abuse. Maybe she wanted to be with Michael in heaven also.

I just wish, when Paris feels up to it, that she could spend some time with Diana Ross. She really doesn't know her much at all, but think of all the stories Diana could share with her about MJ. Diana and MJ performed together, as we all know of course, and I bet Diana has a lot of wonderful stories to share. Just wish Paris and Diana could spend time together. I think Diana lives in NYC?

That could be one of the reasons but theres so much ish going on one of them could be the reason paris did this. But i think it could be also the fact that michael's annivarsy is coming up and that is on pari's mind

It could really be a number of things. There is so much going on related to Michael and it, no doubt, will get her thinking more about it. Especially when people are saying such horrible things. I took a peak at her twitter earlier today and saw her replying to a tabloid last night calling her "J**o's girl." She sees these things, sadly, and I'm sure she knows about Robson's claims. Plus the anniversary and the trial probably bring memories flooding back. There's a lot coming at her all at once at the moment. She's so young and has a weight on her shoulder. That quote by Paris is so sweet yet sad. That last line about him being the only thing to bring her true happiness is very telling. How sad. I pray that she finds peace within herself and can learn to move on step by step. It won't be an easy or quick process, but every bit counts. She's been so strong so far and she can pull herself through this. My love is with her. :heart:

Michael gave her unconditional love and acceptance. He let her be a kid and she and her brothers were his world. He was their world. She is trying to deal with her loss and all she sees is this circus around her. People with hidden agendas and people who don't care in what they say or do about her father. She has had to deal with and see things that someone her age should not have to worry about it. I always knew that no matter how bad we as fans felt about things that it would be harder on his kids. I hope she gets the rest and peace she needs right now.
 
Those awful tabloids never stopped with the J***o crap--what does it take? MJ is dead--do they want to kill his kids too with their disgusting, disrespectful, demeaning garbage that they throw in the face of a genius like MJ and his beautiful daughter?

This is a clear reminder that those kids should leave Hollywood all together. The press is obviously part of the problem, paying off people to make wild allegations i.e paternity claims, drug use, constantly hounding MJ even in death for more scandals, all of this has a very damaging effect on the children.

Also this news of Paris suicide attempt underscores the utter failure of the Jacksons in providing a stable environment for the kids. They have been overexposed, exploited, drug through unnecessary disputes and shady business deals. they deserve far better, a stable home where they can get love and build a good self-esteem.

Paris is a teenager! Life as a teenager is difficult and complicate enough. Life as a teenager on stage... as publicly is even more difficult and complicate. We Michael Jackson fans do not and can't make this easier... I fear the oposite is true!
This discussion here... about why Paris might tried to commit suicide, who is to blame or not... it will not help her... the opposite is more likely true... however it's her reality. *sigh*
I would advice to take her away from everything public... yeah surely in between she wants that oh sheeeesh she's a teenage girl... still it is of no good for her... it is of no good for any kid in my opinion.
Every child-star is just a sacrifice of a childhood which is gone completely. The kids who are not deciding for themselves will never get it back and they will have to miss it forever.
There is many reasons why kids should be kids when they are... there's time enough for everything when they are adults!

I agree with the bold part. when you are a plaintiff in a lawsuit, you expose yourself to scrutiny, depositions, testimonies, and so on. that can be very stressful especially for a 15 year old kid. the kids are too young to go through such ordeal. they are not supposed to be drug into this self-serving case which so far has been an utter waste of time.

I agree 100%. All the pressure to use the kids for profits is driving her to the edge. she lives in a household where people are always thinking about using the kids for one business deal after the other. if it's not a deal with entertainment tonight, its a deal with Oprah or some stupid German show (wetter dass). that ain't good.

The pressure to make her an actress rather than letting her develop naturally, attend school and decide on her own what career she wants to pursue.

My heart goes out to Paris and her brothers. All I will say is that I pray that Paris comes through this ok. I echo what many have said here. Paris and her brothers have a lot coming their way; however, Paris seems to be more sensitive with displaying her heart and soul. When we are vulnerable, the pain that we experience is deep and hurts, then add that you are a 15 year old teenager trying to navigate life and search on what you want to do or be; that in itself is a whole different topic. Growing up is hard as it is. Then you add having a famous father and all that has come with it is not helping at all. All the children really need to be protected and pulled away from all of this. I am saying my prayers. :angel:

It was bad enough before when u felt helpless when seeing the kids abused and exploited. now you have this. its horrendous. u feel even more helpless. u want to rap your arms around her like her dad would and give her a big hug.

how do you see an end to this.living with a family that have spent four years exposing and exploiting u. living with the rensentment shown against you. totally trapped in that world. With no where to escspe. ontop of that having to deal with the haters the press.scum like robson. she went from being loved and protected by someone she worshipped to being thrown into the lions den with no escape.

how this is gonna be solved i dunno.its not like a lighbulb is suddenly gonna be turned on in that families head and they are gonna start acting like normal ppl. so much damage has obviously already been done. maybe she needs a clean break to get a way for a while ie debbie. she needs some L.O.V.E from somewhere. that poor child.

So true; but the "Jacksons" want MONEY more than they want the well-being of Paris Jackson and her brothers.
The "Jacksons" will do " ANYTHING FOR MONEY".
I wish God would allow Michael Jackson to come back and take care of his children. Then again, Paris is OK; so, maybe, Michael is back among us. :angel:

This is so sad. Heartbreaking. But, she is far from OK...I hope at least the professionals don't let her down and help her. What she needs from her family is love & support in a stable environment.

NY Daily News is reporting that Paris was "rehearsing for her testimony" and that it wore her down. The only named response from the Jackson side is coming from lawyers. The rest is from 'sources' inside the family. It is really sad in the news article photos when you see the change from the Paris of the Memorial to the Paris recently. IMHO she doesn't look good now and it is such a far cry from her persona when she was with MJ, not that she should remain a little girl forever--of course not. But the way she has been looking recently is scary to me. There is a photo in the daily news of cuts on her arm.

You just don't become suicidal overnight, and not every kid will try that. There was a build up leading to this, and she ended up in a moment when she thought she had no other way. If it's true she called a suicide hotline, then she saved her own life, and did the right thing. She sought professional help, because she understood that no one in her house, or outside, could help her.

I don't want to speculate about her reasons.

The only thing I'm sure of, and I said that before in this forum, is that she has not dealt with her dad's death. She was very close to him, she was a daddy's girl. Witnesses testified to that in that AEG trial, when Paris went to rehearsals with pictures of Michael in her purse. You can see it also in the bashit doc, when she won't let go of his hand at the hotel and at the mall. She was what, 5 years old then ? Then after Michael passed she had all those pictures of him in her room for years.
She needs to find a way to deal with this. She is probably still very angry about her dad's death.

I have no idea about how she feels about the trial. It's possible she wants to do something for her dad. But hearing all the stuff Karen so vividly detailed...can't be good.

Maybe the kids, or Paris, should have been allowed to talk to Murray at his trial, for the victim's statement, if she/they wanted to. She could have said what she had to say to Murray, let her pain and anger out to the guy who did it. No one could have asked her questions then. Maybe that would have lifted a weight off her chest.

If the Marilyn Manson thing is true, then it was just a trigger. Something certainly happened that night that pushed her over the edge, But she was in a dark place way before that, you don't become suicidal in one evening.

I hope the suicide hotline info is true. It would mean she knows she needs professional help. She understood that people around her can't help. She gave herself the chance to get better. This is very positive news. She'll get through this.

My heart sank when I saw the news. I hoped it was a baseless rumor. If it's been a bad month for me as a fan, it's a million time worse for her. Between the trial, Wade and June 25th approaching and who knows what else... I wish Paris only the best and a speedy recovery.

I wish there was more I could do as a fan. Unfortunately my hands are tied.

It's hard enough to be a teenager sometimes. But being the most overexposed and scrutinized teenager in the world? Unprotected from the harsh and cruel world that is the internet, burdened with the heaviest name in show business? Unsupervised by a family marked by dubious family values and a weak, 83-year old woman who has the weight of an entire family of her shoulders? Without a parent, in the midst of court trials and awful allegations?

It's no surprise this happened, really. Whoever is in charge of taking care of Paris should be ashamed. She should not be on twitter or youtube or anywhere else, that's insanely stupid. It has opened a world of bullying to her, and it's not as if she was having a good time otherwise, what with the constant dragging through the mud of her dead father's name.

I wish the Jackson kids had remained unknown, invisible and unimportant. Being famous is the last thing they need. Everything that's been happening goes directly against Michael's will. He wanted them to be happy, simple, protected from the life that he himself had lived. And here we are. They are doomed to repeat their father's life by suffering from the very thing that made him great: fame.

For Paris I hope she gets some good professional psychological help and some peace and quiet away from the hysteria, discussion and speculation even in her own family if needed. She certainly has some problems but there is help.
If ppl want to help her, no matter if it's her mother, her grandmother, family or friends they will hopefully stay away from all media also!

There were reports she would remain at the hospital at least 72 hours, that's 3 days, so if the reports are true, no, not before Friday or Saturday, at least.
