I don't know why thats a big difference. This man is going to be charged with manslaughter & his defense team's argument is that: 1. Michael knew the dangers of this drug. & 2.Hes the one who asked, begged- whatever...
1. The doctor would know the dangers of the drug ALSO. So there is no excuse.
2. He's the doctor. He has the higher authority whether to give the dangerous drug or not. Doesn't matter if Michael "begged". A doctor should not give a patient what they want, but what is best for them. Because what they really want may not be best for them, and may actually be harmful.
ETA: and also if you're so worried that propofol might be the cause of death, why not go to the authorities first? not CNN...I remember Anderson asking her that too.
