Hello
i have a special shelf for a picture of Michael and a candle and books etc. I wonder if anyone else has this. I light the candle and think of him.
here is a pic

sorry not very in focus-took with my computer!x

That's really nice. No, I don't really have much of a tribute in my home to Michael. Just a few things scattered here and there. I have him on my fridge as a magnet, I have an MJ pin stuck on the bulletin board over my desk in my bedroom and his Moonwalk book (first edition I say proudly) has a nice place on my bookshelf. :)

I have a collage of all album covers and LPs in my living room, a beautiful picture of MJ inside a sunflower in the bedroom, a poster calendar on the fridge and magazines scattered around. Basically, there's something that reminds me of him everywhere around the house.
But, the most important of all...no, it's not in my house or backyard, but it's a 'shrine' for all the fans that live in Bucharest and not only. Here's a pic:

I don't have anything:no: my dad doesn't like Michael:cry: so all my posters and stuff stay in the closet:(

I'm sorry to hear that Karom. Do you have room in your closet to have small shrine on a spare shelf?. You could always clear a small space and have some photos and a battery candle. x

That's nice you have reminders of MJ all over your house. Great pic of the massive shrine. x

thanks x I think we all have our own personal ways of remembering MJ. I just have always been a shriney sort of person!

This how I am remembering my beloved Michael:

That is my MJ comforter set that you see on my bed. And I had kept it on my bed ever since I had gotten it back in January of this year. I so L.O.V.E. sleeping underneath it. Well whenever I can sleep that is. Since I still been having sleeping problems ever since it happen.

I had made these 2 MJ pillow cases several years ago. And I always try to keep them on my bed.

My Opus book which is on my nightstand next to my MJ doll.

This is my singing Black Or White doll. He is still in mint condition and I always keep him on my night stand facing the head of my bed. Though I had to take him out of my room. It was the only way I could take the picture of him. The outfit is in my closet now on top of my MJ record player.

As you can see my room is my MJ shrine. And that is what I like to call it. And another way I like to remember Michael is by always wearing one of my many MJ t-shirts. And by always constantly wearing these 3 MJ necklaces:

DSCI00017.jpg

The necklace that has a picture of Michael's face never leaves my neck. The glove pendant one is real sterling silver and so is the 30 inch rope chain for it. The other one is not real silver but the 20 inch snake chain is. I had since gotten a better chain for it. Since the one in the picture broke. And those 2 necklaces I have to take off whenever I need to wash my hair or to clean them. But other than that they always stay on. BTW you can't really see it in the picture but the glove pendant says MJ on the front of it. And on the back it says The King Of Pop. And I would like to get at least a couple of more MJ necklaces to wear.

Shrines, nice! :agree:

I have "moving" shrines. I bought roses on 6/25/2010 and put one of them on the piano for most of the day. I dried the rose in the picture and it is now above the piano, together with the candle that I lit on Forest Lawn on Valentine's Day of this year.

I have other stuff like this as well but essentially tI decked out the space around the piano and I always had an entire shelf just for his stuff, sheet music, the first editions of his books, music- hey, even really awful illegal copies of music, bought as tapes on the streets. I had an entire section of a shelve dedicated to him, for years actually.

I love the stuff around my piano, good vibes, very warm and inspiring. I look up while playing and see his face.

I put this poster right above my piano.

I do have an electronic picture frame on my work desk and that thing features mainly macros, almost exclusively. I like to laugh my head off to them.

love the poster- it's really beautiful.x

Haha shriney! I think it's beautiful how the fans choose to remember Michael in their homes, whether it's a few things scattered here and there, an entire room or one space as a dedicated shrine. :)

i love seeing all these 'shrines'....reminds me of when I was about 13, with all my posters and other MJ memorabilia EVERYWHERE in my room! I wonder if my bf would let me have MJ sheets/blankets on my bed

:cheeky: My boyfriend tells me I'm obsessed even considering the few things I have scattered around. But...it's my house, I can do whatever I want :)

MJsBollywoodGirl7, love your room! :wild:

Hehe, me too. I so wished I had a picture of my 1992/1993 room. That was just priceless, it was mainly Dangerous era stuff from one particular youth magazine in Germany. Although I probably would have killed my parents back then for taking photos of my room. :D

So today I have one poster- and still have my original singles that I bought in the early 90ies, the original price tags on them- that currency doesn't exist anymore either, replaced by the Euro.

I can't wait for my mom to walk into my house and say, oh God, you and Michael Jackson, I'm 30 hehe.
She gave me "Dancing the Dream" when it first came out- I have a bilingual First Edition, the book was translated into German, my mom gave it to me for Christmas.

Just that one book alone means so much to me. Or the dictionary I used to write him a letter in 1993, in horrible English. I safeguard that dictionary.

awww...my mom gave me Dancing the Dream as a gift too, back in 1993, i believe

I have a few things in my computer room now....My Opus and all his albums are displayed, I framed the Thriller vinyl....and I have my MJ calendar and doll....but I haven't had posters up for a while...i'm 28...

Thank you but I used to have a lot more pictures of Michael on my bedroom walls and doors. But I stupidly decided to take them down. About a few months before we had lost our beloved Michael. But ever since what had happen to him I would like to put those pictures I had taken down back up again. But I have to wait until my room gets painted whenever that would be. I probably should just put them back up now. Since it would probably be a long time until my room gets painted.

You should see my computer room. That is where I keep most of my MJ stuff. On the desk in here there is a like a good size pile of some of my MJ books, video tapes, cds, dvds, and magazines that are about him. As of right now I have like no where else to put them.

I would love to have more of a collection, but I really don't have the room for it....I try to stick with just the necessities....but EVERYTHING is a necessity when it comes to Michael   But I have what I have....:)
