Okay, this may be a stupid question, but then I specialize in those...
Anyway, where does everyone post their pictures from? I know how to post them, but do people have their own online accounts ie: photobucket etc.... Can anyone recommend a site?

:hiya: Your question isn't stupid, lol! I didn't know how to post pics either, but have had a Photobucket account for years. That's what I use to post pics here. :)

Thank you! I'll check it out. I hate only being able to reply to others pics.

Hi sarahJ

Most of the time i search on Google images, Yahoo images .. It works fine for me :)

I get my piccies from browsing FB. :cheeky:
I save them to my hard disk and then upload them to my photobucket:D

No, it's NOT a stupid question! We are here to help!

Thanks everyone. Wasn't sure about starting an account like photobucket etc..and was hoping I could just link to pics online. But I suppose there is probably copyright issues with some of them.

As long as you aren't claiming them as your own, copyright shouldn't be an issue. Everybody shares pictures- that's basically what the internet has come to. That and sharing videos

Anyway, yes, Photobucket is a great site and one that most people use. If you don't want to sign up for Photobucket, you can always use sites like www.tinypic.com or www.postimage.org. With those sites you can upload images without having to register an account.

Or, what you can do is when you find a picture you like, just right click on it, click on "Copy Picture" (if you have that option), then in the text box here on MJJC, right click again and choose "Paste" (or just ctrl+v). That will post the image right to the text box .... much easier ;)

If you need a visual, this is how I did it. And no, your sound isn't messed up. The recording has no sound ;)

 It also works if you right click the image and select "copy image URL" and then click on the little "insert image" button and paste it there. It's a bit more complicated, I suppose, but just in case it Spyce's way doesn't work. (it has happened to me that when I pasted it directly, it didn't show and when I used the insert image option, it did.)

If you're in WYSIWYG mode, it should work. If you're in Source mode, it won't because source mode deals only with code. But you're right, in case that way doesn't work- there's alternate methods :)

I'm gonna need a "For Dummies" version of this.
