Due to the Mono "Hack job" we got of the Chicago Demo, I tried to recreate some of the sounds (and adding a few of my own touches) to create a stereo mix, sadly working with a mono track isn't so easy, heres how I have done so far.



Heres An Instrumental of my mix I am working on also

the instrumental is great. but the stereo mix test, that reverb you applied is too much. i think if you leave the original as it is and dub it over with your instrumental, would be better. like this works better, i think:



the reverb in your instrumental should be lower. else its too much of that hall effect.

I can get rid of the echo, but the voice is quiet as hell. The only thing panned left and right in the demo, is the reverb from the acapella they put over the mono backing track. So inverting left and right you can extract the reverb only, I used this to lift the vocals, I am going to try and "stereo" it might sound less muddy as its occupying the centre with the vocals and demo, other than that Imma try a noise gate maybe.

Hi all, I need help with my remix of STTR.

So far I made 2 versions but I'd like to redo it with a better audio of BBMA to match the kick ass sound of the original. If anybody knows of a good download please let me know.

For this remix I cut the intro a bit and amplified the whip crack as there's nothing that says Slave more than a whip cracking lol.
Then I added the end of BBMA from the dance break to the end with LOVE LOVE LOVE!
