Rod Temperton dies

I love how that little clip of Groove of Midnight, being that we only hear a few lines, bears all the hallmarks of a Rod Temperton composition.

Lyrically with grooving, midnight, moonlight (do these words appear in all of the MJ/RT works?)...and musically the way the notes ascend 'wa-ant sweet des-ire'.

Would be lovely to hear more.
 
Sorry to hear this news. He was a very talented songwriter and musician, and by all accounts a genuinely good person. I have fond memories of his group Heatwave as well as the songs he wrote for MJ. RIP to the great Rod Temperton.
