Showdown between Howard Mann / Katherine Jackson and MJ Estate

the point is under intellectual property laws even if the copy is owned by someone else they can't promote it using M's name.,so they can listen to the songs in the private of their hoiuse but not sell it as "MJ" and since they don't own j5 brand either i dunno how they can sell properly all this..it would be better to sell this to the estate.
as far as i know they can't even use the name of a song or something that reminds directly him like "neverland" even if neverland was not invented by MJ correct me if i'm wrong..

A lot of those songs are probably just copies of the originals and demos.............
+ You can have in you possession the master but not the copyright and that means you cannot sell the stuff at all!!!!!!!


I mean the stuff Vaccaro used to put on youtube was in dire quality and incomplete........

And it its anything made with Epic and Quincy Jones, then they'll both be angry with it because Quincy will also be losing out on royalties............

And the Motown/Universal is a complete different ball game...........There are so many people involved in the songs........writers......singers(in duets).



Stop believing TMZ all the damn time....................They are a tabloid and they will make stuff up (or include interviews and quotes from pathological liars)!!!!!!!

And with the people she's associating herself with, she might as well team up with half of Michael's enemies!!!!!!!!!
 
Seems to me that the Family Jackson (Joe Jackson) is trying to make Kathe to do what they wants! I mean, money and money for the Jackson that aren't on the testament!
 
A friend of mine just told me something that I found interesting. Seeing that this guy owns the stuff he has he can do what he want as long has he his not turning a profit. The estate will leave him alone. As soon has he tries to do something like sell music or even that book the estate is going to pounce on him. Which makes me wonder about the sale of that book. We all know the pictures are old but if you try to use Michael's name to sell this book you are going to have a problem
 
I know this thread is old... but I used the search thing and this is the closer i got to what I wanted to ask...

I wanted to know more about that lifetime contract Mann and Katherine had with the kids but didn't find anything using the search bar..

Is there a copy of the contract we can read, and how is it written that the kids are under lifetime contract?

As this thread is old and so much has happened since this it goes to show you the 'Jackson's' are terriable business people and everyone they hook up with is just as bad.

I just hope that someone has the guts to stand up for what's in the best interest for the children. That's all I care about. The rest of them, well, I think we all share the same sentiments. :ermm:

There is a real possiablity, if a BIG if those son's of his wanted to over rule him, they do have that power to do just that, which is by saying and demonstrating that "Joe" is senile and is not making the right decisions. They could stop all of this madness but, since nothing has happened and we sit back idelelly watching them distroy their son is unfathenable.
