I appreciate your passion for Michael and his recognition, but I believe Netflix has a good legal team to ensure the credits are correct. Otherwise, the Estate would sue them asap (hopefully lol). For those who have seen this, think about it this way…forget everything you know about Michael Jackson. Watch this from the perspective of the new generation. And then ask yourself, ‘what indication at ALL in this short shows you the degree to which Michael Jackson made Thriller what it is?’ ‘Where do I even see Michael Jackson in this?’ You will be hard pressed to think he had any involvement at all, when the entire concept, execution, dominance, and lasting legacy of this film is because of him, his art, and his work. Credit Temperton? Absolutely. But to credit Michael Jackson as a mere adjective? Disgusting.
It's part of the larger proverb: This is a Wendy's Ma'am (Or Sir)Out of context here, but I love this proverbWhat does it mean "to put the fries in the bag"?

It is on netflix in the Netherlands since yesterday. Will it be on European Netflix too? Germany, Austria,...
To be honest, this isn't a valid complaint.I watched it. I'm pissed.
While the special itself was great, and a modern fun twist on the film, it is overshadowed for me by the completely respectful end credits that BARELY credit Michael Jackson.
I dunno what to say to you. Long ago I stopped caring about this sort of stuff. I like the music I like, so I listen to it. I really couldn't give a shit what other people like or listen to.But now his legacy is increasingly under threat. Perhaps now more than ever. And to passively allow or be okay with things like this slowly chip away at his greatness and importance. Wake up and join the fight…not a passenger of this machine.
Would you guys give it a rest with trying to complain about something that's not even made for you?? If you're not 11 years old, quit talking about it so hard already. Just go watch Thriller, and better yet, better save this energy for playing Thriller so it can go Number 1 in a weeks time.
You didn't need any entertainment. You should've been forced to actually learn.I think I was 11 or 12 when I first saw Thriller. Loved it. Didn't need a cartoon version.
How are other movies doing? Not sure if it is good or just ok
Good question. I don't really do tv so I have no idea what figures this thing could pick up. A short animation primarily aimed at young children? 100k in 10 hours sounds pretty good to me but I don't know what would qualify as good vs. just OK. Hopefully someone who's a bit more clued up will comment. How are other movies doing? Not sure if it is good or just ok
Which I imagine is pretty much the demographic they were aiming for.Just watched it again with my 3 yr old Grandson.
He was glued to the TV. He jumped at one part that frightened him lol.
That's really cool.Seems to be interesting enough for him.
Surley it's a great thing that this is aimed at a young audience, especially with celebrities on boardSome Michael fans complain about every release. It is honestly so frustrating.
Cool review.I finally got to watch it and I enjoyed it immensely. I can see how it is aimed for a younger audience and enjoyed it at my age. Im glad they added the dancing from the original thriller and how Mrs Krawly or whoever had the evil eyes at the end and the hysterical and maniacal laughter too. Overall I found it quite entertaining. Somebody earlier said that Netflix is really good at not giving credit where credit is due, while I don't care to watch the credits and don't see how they could give better credit towards Michael, I do wish they would have kept them up long enough to see his name. Oh, I also liked how they had some munchkins singing the song at the beginning, I thought that was cute.
