Does Snoop know about this ? He's a fan and posted a picture of him and Spike Lee wearing Michael Jackson t-shirts on Instagram. He even had Jermaine Jackson on his show a few years ago.

I totally get fans thinking they are not going to contribute as it's a waste of time or it'll never hit that target and I just lost my hard earned cash.

Sit on your hands and do nothing or at least try and help?
There is a thread on here saying MJ has millions of fans but we have had just over 1100 contribute.

Come on guys....even a small amount from all of us can make a massive difference.

I hope other celebs donate and get involved behind the scene. I do not want the Jacksons to reveal all of what they are doing just as long as when this trash come out, the Jacksons got their stuff together the next day of airing; in the meantime, they need to do interviews like Jermaine and Taj did. Some people did not know these fools (wade and James) tried to sue the Estate for millions ( and lost). What Taj did today was good. By hearing them and describing Wade and James, it will take the "shock" value out of the film. Like one man I was taking to today about it and the graphics of it, he said "of course of it is going to be graphic, you throw everything at the wall and see what stick even lies". Most people aint crazy.

Why are people worried their donated money will be taken and no documentary made?

gofoundme returns the money to the donators if the they discover the money is not used properly, or goes to the wrong people. I have seen and read about this happening several times.

At the worst case, if the project fails or is canceled - Taj and gofundme will refund the money.

Taj is certainly not going rip off Michael Jackson fans - the very last people defending Michaels legacy.

Im not offended. Either way people do what they feel is right and chose themselves which way to defend mj. Everyone should respect that.

Whether or not someone is going to donate, Taj should have our full support now. He is family, he is trying to do something each and every day and he's the one who spent time with Michael the most. If family and fans aren't going to defend him, who will?

I also think the Estate shouldn't be involved in this documentary.

I read where you referenced Taj's interview and ran across it just now. Really good-better than Jermaine's-Jermaine was quite emotional, and Taj is too-but he kept his cool Sad what he said about Prince.

One thing I loved about that podcast taj was on, when that film maker said we cant prove that Michael did not molest children but we can prove the allegations to be false..

I loved the end of Taj's talk on Sunrise when he said the fans are incredibly knowledgeable, have done the research and possess the facts! I was thankful for that, because yes, it's true. Fans have done hours upon hours of work, I'm glad it's noticed!

Despite giving Taj some points, I have to say I still haven't donated, for the reasons stated by others... the Jacksons just do not appear trustworthy or reliable, and actually a few dollars can cut into a fan's budget; some fans are struggling to pay bills and eat. My best friend and I are huge MJ fans, we are following the news, speaking up online, but TV licences have been cancelled, internet providers have been cut down to cheaper deals, and less food is bought for the weekly shop, because money has been such a struggle the last year or so. We are both chronically ill. I would like to donate further down the line IF it's obvious that the documentary is being made for definite. And if it's sensible. Of course not all fans are struggling financially but some are, and even those that aren't, it's perfectly OK to have other priorities, expenses that affect their personal lives; and it's perfectly OK to distrust the Jacksons and want to wait. No one likes feeling as if they've been foolish. $10 could go on a toy for a niece, a friend's birthday gift, new jeans for a new goal weight, really anything. I think most fans want to contribute towards something that they're sure, 100%, they can have faith in.

Since there still seem to be many people skeptical of Tajs documentary, I would encourage any of you listen to Tajs own words about what he wants to do:

Taj says he cant do Michael justice, without doing a series of at least 4 or 5 episodes.

If you dont have time to listen to the whole podcast, here are some timestamps:

29.00 to 39.29 = Tajs speaks about the documentary series ONLY about his plans for it.

The first 1 hour and 14 minutes is the part Taj is on the show. Outside of the 10 minute mark above, he is also saying plenty of interesting things!

This an INCREDIBLE IMPORTANT project, if done right, it could be the best thing EVER done to defend Michael and dissect and disprove all the lies that has been circulating the last 30 years.

In summary, I see no reason why any of us should not get on board and try spreading the word and contributing financially if possible!

Further more, I think this an absolute unique and ONE TIME ONLY opportunity where the person doing this documentary can actually be reached - and fans can suggest things that should be brought up or people they should interview. Everyone should think about it and send Tajs suggestions about what you think is essential to bring up in the documentary etc.

rediculous to ask michael jackson fans to pay for a documentary which should rescue his legacy. in the end its about how much this whole circus has an impact of mj`s sales. so, WHERE IS THE ESTATE?!?!?!?! WHY ARENT THEY PAYING TAJ FOR THIS DOCUMENTARY OR PRODUCE THEIR OWN?!?!?!?!?!

Momentum is long gone - those who wantes to donate has done so... This will never even reach 55.000 IMO...

Would be nice if some celebrities and family members put their hands into their pockets and donated also. Better still if some film maker with integrity decided to make a rebuttal which could be sold on to TV companies. Or will there be no major audience unless there is sleaze and shock stories to make the brain dead salivate.

Considering the amount of money the family had had out of mj and the estate over the years it would have been nice if they could have funded or at least made large contributions to the fund. Its the least they could do (if they had they would be quick enough to tell everyone) i find it odd that they expect regular folk (mj fans) to fund this. yet they who supposedly have money and janet who supposedly has millions, yet expected the estate to pay for her mothers toilet roll when staying with her hasnt contributed to this fund. Its sad but not surprising. Ala cardiff expecting people to donate seperatly to charity.

I doubt that honestly. Maybe a little. - But all the fans know about this doc already - and those who wanted to contribute has already done so.

I don't see any casual or non-fans to donate&#8230; - They do not care. - Maybe they see the doc and then thinks MJ is innocent, but they do not wanna pay for his innocence to be proven by a new doc... - That's just my thoughts of course. But unless The estate and/or the family donates, it will never ever get above 55.000...

I'm absolutly sure that we will see this documenteryseries no matter how much people donate for it!
When the people donate less the technical quality will be less perfect and we will see not so much episodes and very long episodes.
But its the only the content that matters!
Taj will make this documentaryseries cause I can feel he really wanna do this, even when it has to be a low buget production!
When there are any money issues Kathrine will be the first and best person to help him out!

Why cant Jermaine even bother to pin Tajs tweet about the documenary gofundme page? If all of the Jackson family tweetet and pinned the tweet it would least at reach more people.

I agree. I think the brothers and their familys don't have so much money. The record sells from the Jacksons and other Familymembers exept from Janets and MJs are not good enough to make them very rich.

Personally, I think the first thing Taj should do (and may be doing so already) is to find a good corporate sponsor-like Netflix, preferably-who will do the advance money to make the documentary. HBO and Channel 4 funded Dan Reed. Netflix or someone could do the same a la their 'Making a Murderer'.

He should also be looking for a really credible documentarian/film maker who would be intrigued enough to film a story about an innocent man framed for unspeakable crimes. I'd even take a conspiracy theorist like Oliver Stone-surely someone out there has some doubts and would think it would be a compelling story. Taj could guide it and make sure everything he wants covered is covered-an executive producer or something.

^ he's confirmed that he's working on all that and is not saying much specifically to keep things 'hush hush'. He has a lineup of people that are working on the project, he specfically said he is aiming 'larger' than HBO.

He doesn't want any real details to get out so 'THEY' wont have rebuttles ready by the time the docuseries comes to fruition.
