This really is a terrible performance, even the Visionary singles debuts were higher.

The single is only 79p on itunes and £1.99 from HMV.co.uk with FREE DELIVERY(!), so BUY IT if you haven't already, and REQUEST the song to be played on you local stations. Refer to the request thread if you need some details:

Hey

Sorry, but i know i probably get slammed for this, but if Michael and Sony want this to be a success it must be promoted, as in Michael performing and being active within europe, and Sony getting adverts etc on TV, Radio, as well as making sure it gets playlisted, it should not be upto the fans, how can Joe, public make a decision if they dont even know if its out and available, its a good remix but has no video, not even any kind of one, such as old clips put together as in One more chance.

Maybe its all being held back to promote thriller 25 album , but its important if thats what michael wants and Sony to have this presence, however if Michael just wants to put some new tunes out there, then he has achieved this and it does not matter if it charts well.

Its great to hear michaels music again, just wish he would become active.

I agree.
So far, appart from the single being released to radio, there has been no promo in the UK for Thriller 25. This shouldn't have been the first single to release anyway, before Xmas some stations were playing the leaked demo of WBSS regularly, in fact KISS FM still has that demo playlisted. If Sony had released that first we might be seeing a better chart position for the first single from Thriller 25. That has a knock-on effect of improving the overall sales for the album.
Sony US does seem to be doing a good job over there, but it's really frustrating that Sony UK have so far ballsed it up. Apparently Sony UK requested Mike to come over to London at some point in February to promote the album but I haven't heard anything about that since and I never really expected it to happen anyway. The success of this project is also important to set Mike up for a good start to the new album when it's eventually released.

i think initially people like will i am and all the host of akon and neyo went all about their collaboration with mj to get their benefit from the name Michael Jackson but i don't see that MJ or sony were planning something big for the album, since there is no new song released, i think they hyped things only to say that we had hands with MJ.........

The album itself is going to be huge, however the songs are not strong and not advertised ..therefore obviously people won't be buying them!

i agree. it hasn't even been mastered properly. the music is distorted throughout.
Michael obviously severing his ties with Bernie Grundman too i see.

I will of course be delighted if it makes the top40, but being 31 at midweek isn’t a great sign. I expect it to drop from there, MJ singles usually do.
Woolworths have it at No9 in their chart, but don’t forget it’s the first week of release and it only means that the buyer at Woolworths decided to order that many singles to make it No9. Woolworths charts can be way off if the buyer orders the wrong amount of singles. It doesn’t reflect actual sales this week or what the position will be in the official chart on Sunday night.

I have to say I thought it's worsts of the new tracks. People won't buy a song that's not good.
