I don't want to be a hater in the biopic thread but I have to say that I don't like anything I've seen yet..
Jafaar doesn't give me MJ vibes, I don't feel 'Michael Mania' in the teaser, a lot of inconsistencies, bad wigs..

Is it even possible to not get a cringy, uncanny and angry experience from a biopic about a person you are a fan of..?

Well, Thriller is the biggest selling album of all time, thus some insight of its production wouldn't be out of place.

They didn’t even give us insights on the album work in the T40 doc so

Not physically no, but of course it should be someone who oozes MJ's sensitivity (like Wylie Draper could). So far I still see Jermaine in Jafaar.

It's one of the 21 outtakes from the Thriller album, and the one that got closest to seeing release during the sessions.

I can see Streetwalker '87 also being included, unless they somehow screw up the SW/APOM decision scene and play SW '88...

I honestly doubt it. The general audience doesn’t know those tracks — they want to hear Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, the big hits.
Have any of the other music biopics even included unreleased material?

I doubt it as well, maybe Hot Street since the trailer referenced it guess we’ll see. Even if there is unreleased music I’m 99% sure it’ll be all stuff we’ve heard before and had for years in HQ. Not getting the hype
