The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

But you didn't know what it was.
I had no idea

Aren't they making up tracks for the Biopic when talking about songs that didn't make it? A little "creative liberty" as it was.

Also not surprised about Bryan, I had my suspicions this past year or two about his health.

You don't seem upset abut his passing..?

Didn't someone recently put Lorens tapes up for sale? I wonder if that was a last minute action to support his family.
It was a mixtape Shana made that she sold to someone who sold it for an outrageous price. As far as I'm aware, all the original DATs Shana has were stolen by her manager when he was fired, and not actually given to her by Michael like she claimed. Interestingly, Bryan always claimed the copies of his tapes out there were illegitimately obtained.

Bryan knew that Shana is selling his songs for a lot of money, didnt he? was he ok with that?? why didnt he sue her?

Some of these titles, like “Serious Effect” and “All the Truth”, have achieved legendary status among fans through circulated demos,

What? How has "All the Truth" achieved legendary status? MJVibe/Perry be fantasizing again...

Hmm, I kind of like this. The idea of stripping the music to make the verses stand out more is at the first part of the song is cool. Ain't perfect, but it's good work.

The original mix is pretty good already though.
Thanks man! I also prefer the original mix & I did it for fun.

Sad to hear that Loren has passed away. I can't recall a Jackson-related producer/writer that had a harder time than him, not only with his Jackson work going nowhere, but also the discussion around him. There's been a lot said about Loren that I can't even pin point what's fact or fiction, like whether or not he was fired or if he worked with Michael after "Dangerous". Also the fact that many songs have been misattributed to him (like "Deep in the Night", which I think was only recently found out to not be a Loren track?), it's really hard to pinpoint his contributions and his history when so much of what's said about him just contradicts each other. May he rest in peace.

He did work with him after Dangerous. He verified 93-94 himself, unless you would think he was lying about that? Or that the DATs for the 1993 grooves are wrong?

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but their articles seems to be AI now. I don't know why they would do this, it's terrible to read.

Does anyone know how he died?
Can't find anything. I didn't expect this to get lots of media coverage but I did expect something to pop up on TMZ or one of the music websites, Rolling Stone, NME, something like that. I stopped looking earlier today bc all I could find was the thing that Fuzball posted and then reactions from Michael's fanbase. It's sad.

I can't see anything but I'm not on Twitter anymore.
X posts should be showing up just from a bog-standard search. I can't see anything.

58 is no age.
:(

Can someone correct me if I’m wrong, but Bryan Loren was the co-writer for Mind Is The Magic right? I have a vague memory of Bryan denouncing that song during his interview with the MJCast, lol.
