The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I hope one day we hear something from Redone, Will.i.am, the other demos with Akon and also the demos from Ne-yo (even though MJ never recorded vocals for them)
Speaking of Akon, was there any truth to this?

Ciara never met MJ but he did ask her to be on "I Have This Dream"

That’s why I don’t entertain these muffled snippets and scroll right past them.
Yeah that one was a fanmade song that was just muffled but usually there are some rare times when real snippets float around and nobody notices.
ex:
That was uploaded like a year ago it seems.

That was confirmed by Damien a couple of months ago. He said basically that its core was real but it was altered with A.I.
Kai confirmed it as well.

I wish a.i never touched music! All I see now is "is this fake/ is this real" shit has gotten really ridiculous
Sadly, this shit happened long before AI. Uneducated fans losing their shit over Mamacita, Burn Tonight etc.

And the same can be said for the huge amounts of fake autographs and costume items available on eBay. Sadly, some people will believe anything!

Yeah the part where Michael sings "pot of life" is extended with AI, hence why Damien said that the vocal melody was off. And apparently the part where the music changes is part of the bridge, also. What Kai posted was that same snippet but without the AI edit.

Not sure. My snippet sounds a little bit different in quality.

yeah that is odd too because both snippets sound a bit different which means that creator got the snippet from a different recording of the song.

Babyface on Michael calling him upset.

The veteran songwriter recalled a time in 2006 when he got a call from Michael Jackson. "He rang me up out of the blue, I hadn't spoken to him in about five years so I was surprised to hear from him" he recalls. "I said 'Hey Mike, what's happening?', and he sounded pissed and said 'how could you not give The Loneliness to me?'".

Referring to the title song of Babyface's 2006 studio album, he continues "He told me 'I have been playing it all week, I can't stop listening to it. You should've given that one to me - I would've killed it, you know I would've'. And I said to him 'Mike, I wrote that song for you, with you in mind, but I couldn't get it to you, so I just put it out myself. But it was meant to be for you.' It was a nice validation though, because I really believed in that song, but radio wouldn't touch it and it didn't become a hit for me, so it was nice to hear that Michael loved it so much, because I really felt like it was a special song."

I wouldn't call it a favorite but he was probably casually listening to new music and stumbled across the Babyface song.
