Working with Michael on BAD I learned that you always put in many extra bars in places like the intros and outros, cause you never know if he'll go off in a vocal or spoken-word thing. Or maybe a guitar part will be so good you want a breakdown.

Now 2 of my unreleased productions that came out have these looonng intros. With no reason.

This is how you can tell they never got the final edit or mix.

Streetwalker is a mix I'm fine with. But that long intro is crazy!

Monkey Business has both- long intro and a mix that my perfectionism cringes at.

I'd love hear a finished mix of Monkey Business, those vocals are amazing and deserve a more impactful production.

I'd laugh if they released a finished mix on any biopic soundtrack, be more than a tad awkward given the subject matter
