That's what we just established yesterday. It is bullshit. It's not true. The numbers are false. You're literally being lied to.

Number Ones didn't actually achieve what's being claimed on social media. Sony have simply DECIDED that Number Ones will be in the chart this week and Essential will tank because of it.

Exactly. These days it's all about streaming individual songs. As a direct consequence, albums are not sold and it's therefore meaningless to talk about album sales they way some people are trying to. They need to move with the times and realise it's not 1995 any more.

Not quite. I occasionally click in case there's something genuine that's happened. And every time I click, I have to read through 2-3 pages of fake news from the same person, before I realise that nothing happened.

It actually detracts from any actual accomplishments that Michael gets.
