In other ridiculous NFL news: Seattle Seahawks' running back, Marshawn Lynch was fined over $11,000 by the NFL for his end zone touchdown crotch grab. This isn't the first time he's done it (and wasn't fined for it then), but Marshawn has been a favorite target of the Commish for not being the most talkative player for post-game interviews.

One fan commented "If Michael Jackson was in the NFL he'd be fined every 25 seconds for this so-called offense!" I had to laugh at that, LOL!

Here's the link from a Washington state news site: http://www.king5.com/story/sports/nfl/seahawks/2014/12/25/lynch-touchdown-crotch-grab-fine/20893573/

Here's the move that drew the fine...

Happy 2015! Trying to play catch up, so here is the happiest NFL news for me: San Francisco 49ers head coach, Jim Harbaugh agreed to part ways with the franchise and take on the head coach position at his alma mater, the University of Michigan. YAY!!!

Here's Jim at the press conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Dec 30 2014)...

Last Sunday morning the sports journalism world (ESPN, especially) lost one of their finest, one of their brightest, one of their best; Stuart Scott. He died that morning after a 3rd battle with cancer. He came to ESPN when it was still a young network, anchoring their second wing, ESPN2. He brought flavor, style and a face to the network rarely seen...a black leading personality that interviewed athletes from basketball to hockey. His catch phrases and Hip Hop style made him a household name, as well as his knack for getting sports stars to open up and give him numerous scoops.

He was a few months shy of his 50th birthday, leaving behind two lovely daughters he adored and loved above all else. He connected so well with his peers, the athletes and especially the sports fans that he felt like a family member, someone we looked forward to seeing and trusting his reporting honesty.

Rest in Paradise, Stu. There'll never be another like you!

:beach: I don't have a horse in this race, but I'm picking the Patriots to win it, mainly because Tom Brady attended MICHIGAN (my favorite college team, lol)! Good luck, Tom!

^^I guess I will root for the Seahawks since I think the QB, Russell Wilson, has cute curly hair and pretty eyes. Although you can't see those things in a football helmet.
I'm not a football fan but I watched the Michael Jackson one and the one with Bruno Mars last year. :)
