The Official 'Michael' Bio-Pic Thread

The Michael soundtrack album really sucks.

But - i was never interested in the soundtrack album anyway. I am only interested in the movie.

The album must be for the general public and new fans. Still can't understand why they did not put more songs on it. Some new live songs would have been cool.

mjfp are you able to confirm or deny 27 songs being in the first film? I believe it to be incorrect but perhaps you have more info?

Also, I'm not sure if you saw my previous messages but my contact said Rock With You, Heartbreak Hotel and Shake Your Body were all cut from the film recently. Do you have info on this also?
the 27 songs were confirmed officially iirc it was in a Chinese promo

no idea about all that has been cut in the final edit, I‘m also not really interested in the process of the biopic itself, more in the projects which are truely Michael because, well… the biopic isn‘t really Michael. But I‘m very looking forward to see it in cinemas and although some changes were made due to storytelling, I‘m very confident that it will be one of the greatest biopics of all time (well… I also only‘ve seen Bohemian Rhapsody and Oppenheimer but it‘s gonna be great!)

The list is a lot, lot stronger than that...

Thanks for that. Personally, I just don't buy that there will be 27 songs in the film. If this is the case, why would there only be 13 songs on the soundtrack? Just doesn't make sense.

Maybe there are small bits of other songs as part of a montage or playing in the background
OR maybe it means that there will be a part two and these 27 are the songs of the 'whole movie'..

And if there will be a part 2 there will also be a second soundtrack..? How will it be called? 'Michael 2: His Story Ends'?

Of course there would be. It would be a different film.

I'm noticing some outfits we hadn't seen before here, like the "Billie Jean" outfit from the Bad Tour and the CTE shirt worn during the "Man In The Mirror" performance from Dangerous. Those are definitely gonna be left for part 2, right?

That Billie Jean jacket has the white arm band and pants have yellow stripe. I wonder if those are actually something used in the movie or just for rehearsal?

For those who would like the visual understanding of where jaafar is in some of this footage. When you see Jaafar rehearse with the white Bannister (both in this and another behind the scene video), thats MJs room at hayvenhurst. The rehearsal that you see with the arched glass doorways, that a foyer/living room type area underneath his room. Directly across the garage, photo room, and studio.

Is one of them this same room? I can’t tell

Human Nature from the Michael: Songs From The Motion Picture album is available on streaming now.

Of course, it‘s just the album version.

Im not sure, this somewhat resembles his room. But he had green carpeting and I don't believe that there's a vent where this would have to be if in his room.. Also the wooden shelving is not the same.

This isnt the other room i mentioned. Sorry.

13 songs on the Soundtrack, not enough. 27 songs in the film, too many.

Maybe there's no pleasing us :ROFLMAO:
Another way to say it:

Either:

The film is aimed at diehard fans and includes obscure demos.

Or

The film is aimed at the general public and makes $ 9 billion.

Choose one.

Some new live songs would have been cool.
No it wouldn't. Who wants 2 live songs?! That would be very disappointing. Just release the whole live show as a full album (or preferably a 2-hour DVD).

I‘m very confident that it will be one of the greatest biopics of all time (well… I also only‘ve seen Bohemian Rhapsody and Oppenheimer
Sooo... Can we stop saying things like this then? It's just a silly phrase. Especially when you have no knowledge and no comparison.

To the people complaining about the soundtrack or whatever it is. You do realize that they are not forcing your money out of your bank account, Right?

You don't have to buy it.

Please stop acting like you are being victimized because you don't like what product or project the estate is releasing.

Everyone has their own opinion on the estate, not everything is bad about Estate, if all albums are still released as vinyl, I am satisfied with it
