There is a special moon tonight

There is a circle of light around the moon,very beautiful.
I know there is a scientific explanation,asteroids,but why does it happen the night after the verdict? And the last nights it has been cloudy and then I havent been able to see neither stars nor moon.

I wonder similar things at times...sometimes things are just too much of a coincidence to believe it is just that.
