Just watched them videos and BOY THEY LOOK GORGEOUS.
It does feel like I'm watching them for the first time all over again.
I'd also like to give credit where credit is due: I'm glad they kept the freaking grain instead of washing it out with DNR.

After looking at the comparisons, I can only think that the OG tape masters are really worn out.

This easily makes up for not just Outta The Rain, but also the terrible Visions release as well. Finally, the Estate is beginning to step up and actually give MJ's legacy the respect it deserves, even if it could improve a lot more.

From what I can see on iTunes, Beat It and Billie Jean’s videos are exclusive to Thriller 25 deluxe edition with only Thriller available for purchase. I hope they’ll add the 4K videos to the digital edition of Thriller 40. It’s a missed opportunity if they don’t.

Man seeing the colours the way they are supposed to be and the brightness and dynamic range so much better is awesome. I'm so used to how dark and compressed the old ones look that it's like looking at something different when I look at it now in the new versions, particularly Thriller.

I saw some people saying Beat It doesn't look as sharp as Thriller and, after a few more watches, it's clear it has been de-noised/de-grained a bit.

Yeah I definitely noticed it isn't as sharp. I assume the material just wasn't in the best condition. Still, looks great.

It seems it was denoised in just some scenes. I still like it tho. I can't complain at all

Film reels are gonna degrade even in top-notch storage facilities. It still looks absolutely astonishing.

I wish they would have left the film grain as it is so details aren't lost. You can see grain in some parts but not much in others.

it might have been cropped too.. but it was widescreen 16:9 and it was not cropped from the 4:3 version.. you could see more at left and right.

Tried it yesterday. This is so typical Esatate again. Pay subscription to watch this. And i am 100% not giving this Tidal any Bank or Credit Card details. They not even release it at the same time on Youtube. Thats the main channel for everything.

Is that your own rip from this dubious streaming channel?
People need to rip that in the right way. mostly they did it in the wrong way.
2 different video formats? there is something wrong. Thriller have to be much bigger.
