Hopefully he can get the lazy estate to release more music and concerts for us MJ fans.He apparently has an MJ tattoo on his stomach…I’d say he’s a huge fan!

I just (almost) watched the video, and was appalledPosting this from @andjustice4some with the proviso that the new thing Offset has just dropped contains loads of references to the videos for Thriller and SC but the song is also loaded with language that, for some people, will be too violent and aggressive. Just sayin'.
"Not going to debate this, but this is why Offset's support of Michael is so important.
#1 - He supports an MJ event (#1Billion4Thriller) on the same day his own single drops.
#2 - Very few artists have come out publicly in support of Michael. They're worried about the own careers. Offset shows his support and doesn't worry about it.
#3 - Offset's fan base brings in new fans for Michael. We need the younger generations to keep MJ's legacy for decades down the line.So thank you @OffsetYRN, for your love and support of Michael Jackson. And thank you to the Setgang for working with us. We appreciate you so very much."
Maybe my trigger warning should have been much stronger. Wasn't sure how far to take it.I just (almost) watched the video, and was appalledso foul. so cheap. standards have dropped so low in the entertainment world. michael’s name is being sullied by association with this

I was gonna say it's overly sensitive but, uh, I read the lyrics lol.Maybe my trigger warning should have been much stronger. Wasn't sure how far to take it.
Yeah. I posted it for the @andjustice4some tweet. Seemed like a good idea! I wasn't even gonna check out the song, no interest in Offset, don't really know much about him. Then I had a quick look. It's ... um, not at all what I was expecting, that's for sure.I was gonna say it's overly sensitive but, uh, I read the lyrics lol.
Wowsers. They ain't gonna play that in Ireland.
The video is pretty harmless. It's a standard rap song otherwise.Yeah. I posted it for the @andjustice4some tweet. Seemed like a good idea! Amen!! I agree 100%, hope it happensI think it is maybe safe to say the Thriller 40 documentary ( do we really even need one ? ) is pretty much on the back burner now. Maybe once these latest court cases are resolved , same with any new releases . Leaks are the only way now it would seem. I would love however to see the concert with the Human Nature performance in that quality it proves what really is out there but for some reason unreleased. MJ most definetly at his vocal peak despite the fact he did not want to do the Victory Tour.

they definitely have the L.A. 1989 concert on u-matic tape and this could be upscaled to HD/4K via AI and if done properly will look amazingI understand Thriller getting the 40th anniversary reissue for it is a landmark album, but if Bad gets re-released in 2027, they better put another Bad Tour show out, preferrably MSG.
1. I am not a fan of upscaling, personally. From the snippets of it in that One documentary, just make a SD BluRay and it's good enough.they definitely have the L.A. 1989 concert on u-matic tape and this could be upscaled to HD/4K via AI and if done properly will look amazing

I'm listening to it, but it's a 2-hour-long episode. Can you pinpoint a timestamp for his statement, please? From Taj Jackson on the MJCast
I don't know the specific timestamp, but it was somewhere in the first 30 minutes if I recall correctly.I'm listening to it, but it's a 2-hour-long episode. Can you pinpoint a timestamp for his statement, please?

The SAG-AFTRA strike does have an impact on the production, be it pre- or post-. Even if the documentary is filmed, they still have to work on the editing, which they are not doing, due to the strike.the ‘thriller’ documentary should be the easiest thing to release as it’s already been filmed. they also don’t have to worry about the writers strike.
As far as I understand the strike impacts writers and (starting later) actors. While some have dual roles most editors or directors etc are not on strike (officially anyways). The SAG-AFTRA strike does have an impact on the production, be it pre- or post-. Wasn't it shown last year at some Thriller 40 event? What else would they need to edit? The SAG-AFTRA strike does have an impact on the production, be it pre- or post-. Even if the documentary is filmed, they still have to work on the editing, which they are not doing, due to the strike.
You might be right. I was thinking many directors, film producer, e.t.c. would support the writers and actors strike and stop any production for the time being. As far as I understand the strike impacts writers and (starting later) actors. The version screened last year was still a work in progress cut with multiple placeholder shots, according to some people who watched it.Wasn't it shown last year at some Thriller 40 event? What else would they need to edit?
Ah ok, I was thinking that might have been the case. Oy... this stupid strike better end soon. I get why it's happening but I rather it end.The version screened last year was still a work in progress cut with multiple placeholder shots, according to some people who watched it.
That's why the damn thing has been delayed a year, so they could re-edit/finish it.
