Hey guys,
This is my tribute piece for this year. It was actually part of an idea I’ve been thinking about for ages, and while it didn’t come out exactly as I had planned, it came pretty close. It’s inspired by Janet Jackson’s video for her song, “Together Again” with the African vibe. Whenever I hear that song, I think of Janet and Michael when they were the closest; about 1978/79 ish.
The colours on their outfits are taken from the robe that Michael was given when he was crowned King in Africa. I wanted to incorporate that somehow.
We miss you, Michael. We really do.
