WHAT: If you're ever curious about American influence on global culture, fly anywhere in the world and say Michael Jackson. The King of Pop went from being the eighth child of a working-class family in Gary, Ind., to one of the most recognizable names anywhere in history. Demonstrating Jackson's universal appeal, Miami-based producer Tony Succar had put together a tour of Latin musicians performing arrangements of Michael's classic pop songs as salsa and tropical b.e.a.t.s. More than 90 musicians and artists, including Sheila E., Jon Secada and Judith Hill worked to create this concert. The live show will feature Succar with a variety of performers, working in both English and Spanish.
