What are the chances we hear Mark Ronson's rendition of "Lovely Way"? Or any other unreleased renditions from "Michael" & "Xscape"?

Several songs Jackson recorded for Bad remain unreleased: “Bad Company,” “Broken Chair,” “Buffalo Bill,” “Crack Kills,” “Get Back on Me,” “The Hunt,” “Tomboy,” “What You Do to Me.” One song, “Cheater,” was released on 2004’s The Ultimate Collection.

I know where this quote is from, but it’s not true. Seems like the author just found a bunch of titles online and threw them in.

I could see them leaking eventually. As for official releases, there’s not really an objective need to, unless they decide to throw them as filler on a new album.
I cant remember the last time a completely new songs leaked in studio sound quality, not talking about things like Throwing Your Life Away as the sound on that is really bad.
Since the Estate »never» release unreleased outtakes I dont mind leaks but sadly that is a rare thing.

I agree. Songs like DIG, I Am A Loser, People Of The World, the demo of Hollywood Tonight came from the Sony server leaks right? I don't believe those are the only songs that were stolen. There has to be more out there.

Mark's Lovely Way will never come out sadly. He lost interest in the project after being unsure of what to do with the song and how Michael would have liked it so he kindly withdrew from the project which is why it did not appear on Michael in 2010.

So you're saying his version of the song is unfinished as well? Nothing to even leak?

We got it. Why post the same quote a second time?

Really wasn't that bad. Extremely mediocre id say but nothing god awful. To be fair though, I haven't listened to it in like 3 years lol

I sadly have no idea how finished his entire version was before it was scrapped but it sounds much more polished than the original by a significant margin from what i've heard.

Well that's all I need to hear. I don't expect the estate to ever touch it again, but I see no reason it can't leak like the other 2010 versions of songs that ended up on Xscape. They put out the Michael version of "Chicago" (She Was Lovin' Me) right after Xscape came out, actually.

Yes it might leak however it isn’t very likely (to my knowledge) since not many fans have this version in full.

I think people forget that Mark Ronson is, first and foremost, a DJ. His mix sounds like something a DJ would do on the fly during a live set. I also don’t like it in the slightest, but I don’t think it’s fair to look at it as a standard remix.

Some parts of the Ronson 60th mix are pretty cool in my opinion, but as a whole I don't think it works at all.

What A Lovely Way To Go literally was reworked for Michael by Mark Ronson, that's what I'm asking for. I wanna hear that rendition, they gave us the basic demo because it was easy and low investment. This old 2010 stuff ain't no loss on them, that's what I'm saying. Maybe they'll release the  Michael Deluxe edition with old unreleased outtakes, as a treat. Or Xscape 10. There's possibilities.
What's Xscape 10?
