There's really no reason for it not to be done other than them not wanting to spend the time and money, which is not an excuse in my opinion. They make enough money and let's face it they spend most of the time not doing anything.

I think it's less likely it will all be done in a timely manner for the reason stated above, though.

How long though.... thriller was done 5years ago... im sure they had the idea to do so 5years ago... thats enough time by now & money shouldn't be an issue for the fact they've made over a billion dollars since mjs passing. We're not the only ppl complaining about the estate though. I see comments on YouTube, Twitter & facebook bad mouthing the estate for this 4k reason alone

Surely this is not acceptable these are now commercial songs getting released.
Call yourself a fan I don't think so. Would you do this to MICHAEL if he was still alive.
Beyond appalled.
Gary surely you will not allow this.
I won't be opening these I want to hear on Friday in great quality and on good equipment.

Four of these were officially released while Michael was alive lol.

"Getting released"? Starlight is the only one from a leak.
Guess it's not acceptable for me to listen to Sunset Driver from the The Ultimate Collection boxset I own, right?

Also, how about the people who bought the King of Pop compilation from 2008? CGOTR is on the deluxe UK edition, Carousel in full is on the Italian edition and Got the Hots on the Austrian edition.

There's no need to freak out.

sven nelson's playlists and calling all non-album songs "unreleased" ruined the casual listener's perception of "unreleased" songs.

If you have apple music it's up there. If you dont it's already been ripped and uploaded here in the Thriller 40 thread.

So I guess we have to wait until the 18th for Billie Jean.
Hopefully one day we get to see the original APOM video remastered.

^ Yeah, this is horribly plain. At least the cover we have now pops and catches your attention.

Between this and the couple people claiming that the AI “Thriller” restoration is superior to the IMAX version, fans currently have a lot of undeserved confidence in their ability to outdo the estate lol.

Agree. It’s quite funny to me.

They’ve shown with the 4K videos that they can absolutely knock it out of the park, they can only be faulted for how they ended up online but who cares.

These alternate artworks etc often don’t quite come up to scratch, and whilst the final offering isn’t the best thing ever it’s still a lot better than others I’ve seen who claim to be better than the real deal.

Wow, this is great news. Another song we had no idea existed before.

The more I think of it, Pocaro & MJ might be my favorite duo. The songs they made together are phenomenal.
