I guess this would be the best place to ask this..

In April I plan to do a trip to Chicago than to Washington DC.. I have a few questions!

* Chicago really is not that far from Gary, I was thinking of visiting Gary - but to make my drive shorter I was thinking about one night staying a little south Chicago to make it a shorter drive to Gary.. Stigma is south chicago is not safe, I was wondering if any of you knew of safer areas between chicago and Gary to stay?

* I have not been to Chicago since I was a kid, what are the 'must do's' in your opinion?

* Never been to DC. - what are the 'must do's' in your opinion?

I got the chance to visit most of the major cities of the world but I can say that I still love Istanbul the most (city I live in ) and Chicago, Tokio, Singapore :heart:
