I agree that live vocals are important, no doubt. When it comes to a Michael show, however, I see it as so much more than just singing or not singing. It’s a spectacle, “the greatest show on earth”.It's not insanity. Live vocals is a big part of a live show. For many people, arguably the most important. People have every right to be pissed off about a show that is 95% lip-synced.
I absolutely also prefer watching him perform with live vocals much more than lip-synching and I agree that him lip-syncing most of the show was not the best decision.
Still, what I meant originally is that focusing too much on that, deters fans from seeing all the other positive aspects. The show contains probably his best dancing, the best staging and most importantly it has him in front of his fans. I think it’s just depressing to see people complain and not be over the moon after having seen their idol in concert. There are people who have seen him come out of a shop and still cherish that day forever.
