Make that 3 girl! I'm rocking to it right now. :punk: Sounds great! Much better than the AOL station because they include not only J5 but Jacksons as well. It's the ultimate MJ experience. I've always vowed that I'd never do a radio subscription, but now....woo hoo :woohoo: This is just what I've always wanted in an MJ station.:jump:

I took a road trip to Dallas this weekend so it was awesome getting to listen to it. However, I wish they would play more rare songs. They play Wanna Be STartin' Something, Beat It, Billie Jean, and Thriller every 2 hours...which is a lot when you think about all the 100s of songs MJ has. but I guess since it IS a "thriller" station then that makes sense but after listening for 6 hours it gets pretty old. It seemed they would play 5 well known hits, and then they would throw something like "tell me I'm not dreamin" or "wondering who" in for some jazz.

OH YEA!! FANS GET ON THIS! They come in with trivia and call it "***** FACTO" WTF!!! Okay how are you going to have a station respecting him when you DISrepect him like that? how many times has he said, "I'm NOT *****, I'm J-A-C-K-S-O-N!" argh...ok I'm off to bed. lol

ps: I DO love this and it was like dying and going to heaven but then the regular radio crap seeps in...repeating the same songs over and over, and the whole ***** thing...oh well can't be perfect. its definitely a start :)
 
Michael Jackson getting his own XM radio channel is a great idea. However why do they have to only run it for 30 days? I think if Thriller 25 is a whole year celebration then run the channel the entire year!

I'm just thankful they play anything at all. The J.A.C.K.O. FACTO thing is annoying, but doesn't bother me too much. I know in my heart Michael isn't a wacko. Poor way to find something that rhymes.

I will tell you what I hate more than that... I hate how the people hosting the station sound so fake. They were paid to get on the air and say the things they say, I'm sure, but they actually sound paid and not very enthused. They had me under the understanding that there would be a live host, but it's all pre-recorded.

I have e-mailed them tons of times begging them to keep it on forever, as the world needs more Michael. Haven't gotten any response. If the hosts are pre-recorded, I think there's a robot reading our e-mails. -_-
 
Wow....just started listening to it online now. This is great.

YES, I do think they should have some sort of Michael Jackson channel or even a Jackson Family Channel. How cool would that be? J5, The Jacksons, and all of their individual solo works including Janet, La Toya and Rebbie's music. I think this should happen, if not for just Michaels music, at least for the whole family. Hell, their a musical family that everyone grew up with. It would appeal to everyone from 6 to 66. There are such stations like this for artists on Sirius. I only know this because the music channels on my tv are from Sirius. There is an all Elvis station, an E Street channel for Bruce Springsteen, and even one for The Grateful Dead. I believe the greatest musical family deserves one now too.

What do y'all think?
 
I agree. I've e-mailed them again, suggesting to stop the J.A.C.K.O. phrase and to keep the station alive.

Ok, ok, ok.......I just heard a song I have never heard called "Mammacita"??? I thought this particular song wasn't released. Or am I just having a major brain fart.

If anyone knows the origin, or even lyrics of the song, that would be way cool to know. I couldn't understand half of it because I was so caught up in the fact that I've never heard it before. AND Mike speaks some reeeeeal good Spanish! Forgive me...but.......kinda sexy.
 
hmmmm...sorry, the reason I put this in this thread is because I am listening to the XM Thriller right now and that is where I heard of it. I didn't want to make a complete new thread for one song I have never heard before.
