Xscape chart positions. (incl. singles)

Sales these days are not great for any artist but if you are over the age of 40 it's even more difficult to sell your music. That does not necessarily tell anything about the quality of it. I'm personally interested in how artists of MJ's generation are doing (and I guess that's why Annita posted it too) because that gives us an idea about how great Xscape is doing actually, despite of some fans being disappointed in sales. Well, it outsold Bruce Springsteen's, Mariah Carey's and Prince's new album, despite of MJ not being here to promote it. So that's pretty great.

Xscape-sales are not only good in relation to older artists but also in relation to current artists.

For example:

Chart News @chartnews · 1. Okt.

Billboard 200: #1 @itstonybennett & @ladygaga, Cheek To Cheek 131,000 (debut).

Chris Brown had debut with 146000 for a short time.

On the other hand Barbera Streisand as an older act had with 196000 a really strong debut.

Yeah, exactly. Barbera Streisand was really big surprise for me.

I think Barbra just got a record of #1 albums for 6 decades with this too. Her voice is as strong and pure as ever.
However I did notice that she released an album of DUETS, like Smokey did, like Lionel etc. etc. that seems to be the thing to do these days.
Maybe if they ever redo Xscape 2 they should consider doing that. Make them all duets. LNFSG was obviously a hit.

Are those lists coming from same place or what is going on?
Koopa posted the above 27/09/2014 and the above was the latests? How is those numbers even possible?
Both lists shows no change on Xscape numbers despite:
"Xscape jumped from 134 to number 70 in the UK charts"
In order Xscape to jump up in charts, it should have sold at least few, but there is no change in those numbers in that best-selling lists?
As a matter of fact, it shows only few differences in sales for few people on that list?

They have no number from last week. Billboard charts did not tweet a number this wesk for Xscape.. They can only update when they get updated numbers. Other albums on the lists, out of Top 40 media traffic have also stagnation number and get only updates when there is update form source mediatraffic or billboard.

The numbers are solely based on presence of the albums on UWC weekly top 40. Xscape left the Top 40 two weeks ago. Other albums are still in Top 40.

They include also the Billboard updates. They had updated it the last 2 weeks were it also was out of Top 40 but they had the billboard numbers of worldwide saling.

Can't find a source? It's on the iTunes application! Why would I troll over something so stupid?

You've made a mistake or you have clicked on to a different chart. During no period this month has LNFSG gone to #30 on the iTunes chart. It's at 70 something now. Nor did APWNN break the top 200. Really don't know what's going on here. Can someone redress the situation? Screenshot their view of the UK iTunes chart. Because he clearly made a mistake as Popvortex and kworb state.

I promise you for some time on Sunday, that was the chart on iTunes. It has dropped a crazy amount since then but that was the charting as I saw it. I have no reason to lie about that, that was what I saw.

I believe you. Shame it dropped though!
